It will be added to the wiki when I have enough and have sorted the info into sections.
that's great, I'm happy to hear this. thank you for wanting to do that, it's much appreciated.
I would post pics of what I mean, but tho I uploaded pics to imageshack, I cant insert them to this site (for whatever reason).
could have to do with your security settings, do you allow third party cookies? nice looking start panel.
you can get sk6 for free
I meant the pro version, sorry for not being clear with that.
sorry man.. eye for detail...
you mean like that little bottom left window border thingee?[e digicons]:-"[/e] do you know if they are tossing around alternate thoughts about the subscriptions methods?
I almost feel guilty not being a current subscriber and not being sure of if there are other subscription concepts, that maybe WC might have some other thoughts on subscription levels. I was thinking; 1. for an initial subscription allow a choice of software. This might work for me if SS6 was offered. 2. once an individual subscribes allow them to maintain their subscription at a reduced rate. If it lapses, then...
If I cared about the rating system I would have quit skinning a long time ago. But I do appreciate the comments of skinners that I feel are competent.
Also, Why should freeloaders get a voice?
Uh, I sort of resemble that remark. I have paid in the past but am not currently a subscriber. I would consider paying a nominal fee to support the site but.... (probably another thread for this one??)
trouble is....your general user is not particularly equi
That's a shame Doc, as one of the benefits of Subscription, is being able to rate skins
I didn't realize that one of the criteria for rating skins was just to be a subcriber. Now that the lightbulb has lit on this I have to go along with the "like, don't like" crowd. Subscribers that do not skin are basing their rating on "like, don't like" not on technical merit/apptitude.
Karma as a form of "discipline" is a joke because as it is right now, it's totally useless. It serves no actual function other than who has the biggest fanclub, the same way the ratings works in the galleries. When they abolish the ratings they should toss out the karma while they're at it.
I agree in a sense and sort of disagree. On one side of the coin I totally agree about the fanclub aspect. Why some have karma so high,
eyes, it has eyes, did you notice the eyes on that thing? Sweet Brad, I'm jealous.

as I don't have the "add-on" message anymore I assume something got fixed. I googled the dll file and it seemed to do something with office 2003 and XP??? Hey there Doc, thanks for doing this. I hope that those who have the say in these kind of concerns will provide us with some feedback, it would be appropriate.
That said, I still hold the words need to stay from the original post, at least till a mod can view. It would be too easy for someone to post something hateful , make sure it was seen by others and remove it (hit and run insult) and escape with no consequense for his/her actions.
curious thought: I've encountered flame postings but the "hit and run insult" is a new concept to me. I would assume that these type of posts are few and infrequent. To require the mods to revi
I'm getting a message "this website wants to run the following add-on: "ietag.dll" from Microsoft Corporation. If you trust the website and the add-on and want to allow it to run, click here..." first time I've seen this could this be an issue?? using IE7 here and only on page 5
I saw the posts on the wiki, but was rather unsure as to whether the wiki falls under forums or not.
oops, yep, I guess I was just over zealous with an opportunity to make suggestions.
how would the negative karma work? It seems that it might help keep people a little more civil but it also seems that if one gets a burr under their saddle about someone...
uploading images directly into the post as opposed to calling on an external site to relay the image back. this would be especially helpful in the help sections of the forums (concur with IslandDog's thought here) do something with the wiki to make it effective, it seems pretty barren on information/help.
Doc, please include these also. and I would to agree that if you post it, you live with it, and editing should be accomplished in a timely manner. great, thanks
I noticed a blind that indicated it was a "my colors windowblind" and was just wondering but can't find anything on "my colors". Please link me in the right direction, thanks.
i agree with sydney and bebi on this...... and we had a poll last year where everyone could submit what they would like improved to the site........this is like double handeling the situation....and makes no sense. I feel ya, we're just gonna talk ourselves til we're blue in the face here. It'll be a few years before any of it gets implemented.
I missed the poll last year, sorry. And there has been a lot of activity in the forums lately regading changes to th
I thought that the thread had merit and a way to present ideas/thoughts/comments to WC in a concise manner. Although not an official thread (whatever that is) DrJBHL clearly stated his intent and presented a set of guidelines that if the posters followed would be appreciated. It seems that some have gotten their knickers in a twit over the crosstalk issue and disagreement with some of the suggestions presented. I, for one, would have liked to know that WC had registered our thoughts a
vStyler, I looked for a GT3wb5 but couldn't locate one with that title (darn there are a lot of GT3 blinds). I could probably help if goldstix was using SS but it appears he's limiting this to WB and I don't use WB that much. your court???
some text colors are hardwired by windows and while I don't use FF this could be one of them. it probably isn't an issue with windowblinds but with the way the skin was made.
what I hope is that someone has sense enough to follow the KISS principle when they make these changes.
