Where is your Stardock Central installed? It should be C:\program files\stardock\SDCentral. If it's installed to the wrong directory it could be causing the OD components to try to install to the wrong directory. You could also try uninstalling everything and reinstall. Make sure that you're trying to install the latest version of WB, if it's an older version, it may be looking for an older DLL. If that's not the problem, you could try running the recovery console, and run chkdsk /r to restore any missing dlls.

You need to boot from the install CD (insert the CD in the CD drive, close it, reboot. When you get the prompt to "click any key to boot from cd" do so) and follow the prompts. If you want to try and save your data you can do a repair install. Just read the prompts closely.

Phoon, I think those same things myself. Thanks for putting it into words so well. I used to run through the woods, and ride my bike around town for hours, not coming home until it was time to eat. BTW, my kids just roll their eyes when I tell them that I grew up with no cable, or video games until I was in High School. They also can't understand that it's only been in their lifetimes that computers and cellphones have become commonplace.<BR

Sounds like one of your fans. Open up your case (unplugged, of course), check that you don't have some wiring rubbing against one of the fans. I'd also take some canned air and blow out all the dust, make sure to get the power supply fans as well. Then plug your PC back in and start it up with the case still open. See if it's still making the noise, and if it is, try to listen for the source. Assuming it's just a fan, you'll probably want to re

Open Logon Studio, select the Logon you want to use, and click "Apply" I assume you meant that you want to change your Logon. If you're wanting to make your own Logon, you'll have to wait for someone with more experience in that area.

I tried posting earlier today, but it never showed up. Anyway...you may already know it, but you can speed things up a bit by making the initial and maximum size of your paging file the same size. (ie: for 512 RAM, I set the paging file initial and max to 2048) that way your PC isn't always wasting cycles resizing the page file. You can also defrag your paging file.
