As was I. But can we agree that the dropdown doesn't make sense for the "Windows 7 with icons" menu style?

Wow. I swear that I had a checkbox that said that before. If I see it again, I'll be sure to take a screenshot! But of interest, my menu style is "Windows 7 with Icons", which always shows the icons for the Quick Access Shortcuts, also rendering the options in that dropdown irrelevant.

Maybe I'm missing something, but what's the point of having the option of "Always Show Icons" under Start Menu > Configuration > Quick access side shortcuts When this is overridden by the dropdown options in "How should icons be shown?" right above it? Never show icons Always show icons Only show icons Align bottom and only show icons

I tried 47 different ways but was always blocked by "community guidelines" - whatever those are. That's why I ended up putting in a screenshot if the url in the bottom of the post. Best I could do, sorry.

It's not enough to check `FlyoutMenuSettings`. The visibility of the Hibernate menu item could be controlled by a GPO, which was my case. The Hibernate menu showed properly on the Win 11 power menu, but not the Start11 menu. I manually added the `FlyoutMenuSettings` entries and it worked, but shouldn't have had to. Be sure to check all of the various scenarios in this article. Number 4 may be a little tough, but at least 1-3 and 5. <img src="https://cdn.stardock.us/forums/75/3

I have had to uninstall Start 11v2 because I'm missing too many notifications at work - Outlook calendar reminders, Teams chat notifications... anything. I often have a window running maximized, usually Edge, and the Windows taskbar refuses to move in front of it when a notification causes a taskbar icon to flash. This problem happens whether I have Start 11 set to enhance the Taskbar or not. I've tried the steps

One thing I'll say about the Start 11 taskbar view is that it's very difficult in this view to discern whether the app is simply pinned or that it has windows open.

I don't get it. What are these for. I created a really simple folder pointing at a directory with either no regex or regex to match everything. Regardless of which, I don't know where to look for the custom folder. All Programs? Universal Applications? Somewhere else?

I just finally installed Start11v2 over top of Windows 11. I couldn't stand the terrible Start menu and I missed everything that Start 10 gave me. What is already bugging me, though, is how icons are being combined on the Taskbar. Windows 11: Buttons are combined but their application name is maintained (eg. Microsoft Outlook).
