My bathroom doesn't have a lock. So when I'm in there, I place a jug of bleach against the door, lest the cat come nudging in for a look around. Today, as I reached down to move the bleach bottle, a slight scent entered my nostrils that instantly reminded me of Florida. Suddenly the warmth of the day and the sun streaming in took on new life. My bathroom me

HEADLINE: Gene Nash and Phoon see something eye to eye without bashing each other. Film at 11 If only they hadn't used that doctored footage of us running hand in hand through a grassy field while Elton John's "Can You Feel The Love Tonight" played in the background.

Since stories have it said that the anti-Christ will be born of a female jackal using the seed of a truly evil male to impregnate the jackal, and it shall be born with the numbers 666 somewhere on their bodies. If only Ambassador Thorn wouldn't pause before stabbing the little bugger.

Yippee!!! Shamrock Shakes! I hope I can find a McDonald's with a working machine. Last year I wanted a Shamrock Shake on my birthday. I had to drive to one stand-alone store, one mall, and two casinos before I found one whose shake machine wasn't hopelessly broken or waiting for parts.

Is this gene talking or Azsmart? JK. What is your alternate ego any way? Close, you reversed the two parts. It's SmartAz ( click here for the story behind the name ). I stopped using it after people kept insisting on responding to the n

Some of our articles are cross-posted onto WinCustomize (politics, current events, Internet being some of the forum channels that always are, I think...?). I think only the technology categories are crossed to WC. Politics is crossed to Politica

can some folks please help me with the culture here regarding what is considered debate and/ or how censorship is used. this is not something i have encountered in other forums i partticipate in - where comments are wide open and there is a very liberal tolerance for everyone's comments, however far-ranging those may be. thanks.

The adding of photos is really the key though. It's incredibly slick -- a built in ActiveX control (soon to be Java) enables me to see thumbnails of images that are on my hard drives and select as many as I want, type in the captions quickly and then press a submit button where it'll put them up. Cool c

Not move, just remove from WC. The only tools I have are Delete, Hide and Lock. I don't know the process for removing it from WC without affecting it on JU, but it can be done because I've seen it done. (Hide, maybe?) Are there are people over there with Admin status that have stronger tools?<B

... from this statement it was within the admins full rite to delete the posted comments Nope, because " the person who owns the thread" is Dharma. Look, Brad -- the owner of the site -- wouldn't have edited it. Doesn't that tell you something? The principal laid down is to move it off the WC f

It's easy to see why some people object to having no control over whom they're forced to share space with on the sidebar. Sometimes those bunched up titles can bring up some interesting juxtapositions or even blend together in unintended but amusing ways. For instance, my last article ("You Talkin' to ME?") got sandwiched between a limp dick and a dir

A bit of blog errata... My watchlist is buggy. I'm not getting email notifications when people leave comments on my blogs. Certain other threads aren't triggering notifications, either. So, I may or may not have seen your comments. Like I wasn't bad enough at keeping up with them already, right? I was working on that, but this has complicated matters

You sure you don't want to reconsider that name? The last "crack marketing" I heard about was done out of the trunk of a caddy on 117th and MLK. By the way, your links didn't work. Remember to put the "http://" in front.

u spend way too much time and minimal brain power on having your "Rights" and free speech stepped on.... As usual, your reading comprehension is so low you fail to note I never talked about either "rights" or "free speech" being violated. The "rights" line was brought up by one of your crowd.<B

so all I ask for is a checkbox where I can exclude my blogs from showing up on WC when I choose to have them on the JU forum. Yes, a "Syndicate this Article to Other Stardock Sites?" checkbox would be most welcome. I would use it, sometimes. Not every Internet/Computing related arti
