Of course the Chinese Government is barbaric and a threat to world peace, but don't expect us to ever do anything about it. China has nukes and probably no problem with using them. Economically -- forget oil, do you know how much cheap junk we import from China and how much cheap labor they provide us? The "industrial/military complex" has more to lose than gain on that tran
Have you seen that Progresso Soup commercial where a couple has just finished cleaning out the garage after sending their last child off to college? It follows the usual course of Progresso commercials: A person exerts themselves then decides to have some soup

And I saw the movie... but I must have missed the bit about ol' Edgars poem cause I've never linked the story of those girls with the verse. I think the movie starts with a quote from the poem. <TD cl
can you say it five times fast without it sounding clinical? I couldn't even read it once without it sounding clinical....
For the most part I agree. 7. she's smart: (exactly how smart is relative to the guy himself), but the days of the trophy bimbo are so over. While I certainly prefer intelligent women, I do have a soft spot in my heart for the cute dumb ones. <img src="../images/smiles/joke.gif" border=0 A
I wonder how long it will take before that makes its way over here. Japan has all sorts of great products we never see. Even the domestic versions of the stuff they ship us tend to be way cooler than what we get. I'm surprised we don't pick
Did the marketing department at Mastercard even think of who Homer Simpson appeals to? I can tell you they did, and they maliciously rubbed their hands together… I know it’s up to the individual whether they get a credit card or not, but Mastercard portrays them almost as a necessity… watch the coffers swell… at the expense of av
Nephews and Nieces will do anything for a chocolate bar!!! I can't wait to have them stick their middle finger up at drivers in bad traffic!!! OMG! Congrat's, Mugz.
Winning a gold medal at an Olympic games is an enticing prospect indeed – but what price do you put on success? Have you really won a gold medal if you have utilised any performance enhancing drugs at any time during your preparation? I've never understood that myself. When I win, I want to know i
Dang, man, you dated her too??? I had no idea she moved to Australia. Maybe a sister? I guess they are everywhere. Maybe we should start a website: BewareThisWoman.com -- It's our duty to men everywhere.
Be careful of initials that spell something or have a special meaning, too. My father and grandfather, whilst conspiring to stick me with something awful while my mother was passed out, attempted to name me Patrick Eugene just so my initials (and nickname) could be PEN. If possible, they'd have managed to make it PENCIL. Real pair of comedians those two. Maybe this website can offer you some help: <a href="http://www.yourbabysname.com/"
Kayles Posted: Thursday, June 17, 2004 I hate screennames! I hate trying to sum everything that makes me who I am into one tiny word. Mine always tend to be boring and monotonous. God, I'm in a bad mood today! It wouldn't be so bad if you could go back and change them later. I hate my main AOL screenname -- but that's

BTW, if "It" is the TV movie adapted from Stephen King's novel the ending doesn't really make sense unless you've read the book. (I've had to explain the end more than once to people who've only seen the film.) It's a catch-22: The movie doesn't stand on its own, but if you've read the (great) novel you know how poor a job they did bringing it to film. So the only people who can appreciate the movie know why it shouldn't be appreciated. <img src="../im
Well, I was about to start a series of articles on my all time favorite movies, but I guess I can spill some of them here. (And I'll try not to repeat any that have already been mentioned. If I do, it was an accident.) The Uninvited (1944) -- Good Ghost v. Evil Ghost over young girl. Phantasm (1979 Original only) -- One of the scariest, most original horror films ever. What is that Tall Man out at the mortuary really up to? The H

.is it ratings, money, Ratings = Money (not to mention self survival) If no-one's watching you have no reason to exist. People tend not to move toward things, but away from things. Hence saying "See what killer food may be in your kitchen right now" will in general attract more viewers (more
Have you tried the "bulk up" mixtures they sell at health food stores? They worked well for me. They come in a variety of yummy flavors, too.
this is the kind of thing one would expect to read on Democratic underground. You mean the L.A. Times isn't the print version of Democratic Underground?
A prominent Washington psychiatrist Dr. Justin Frank recently published a book entitiled "Bush on the Couch: Inside the Mind of the President". I'm not sure diagnosing a person at a distance, without the person's knowledge or any actual contact, is entirely ethical. (That includes when I occasionally d
The "clearance" aisles and shelves at Wal-Mart should be required browsing for any marketer, fledgling or established. It's painfully obvious why some products fail. So obvious I wonder why the manufactures didn't see them in the proposal stage. Take a few examples from a recent shopping jaunt.
