And in case you still don't get it. I doubt you'd be accusing Bush of getting political mileage out of Reagan's death if this wasn't an election year. That being the case, Kerry's actions become relevant as a rebutal. Your point about how Bush has handled the soldiers' caskets and funerals is worth making. The rest of your article, I feel, is b.s. (bovine scatology). It could have been handled much less inflammatorily by sa

You don't think it's remotely relevant to point out that Kerry also (apparently tried to) "benefit by association with the event--especially through poignant images that show (him) in close proximity to the casket. " After all, it was Kerry, not Bush who jumped out there with this image. That, despite your insinuations, Bush hasn't made sure to butt his way past the citizenship and get good prime mourning coverage. If Bush were out there with soldiers' caskets wouldn't you then b

bush will, of course, benefit by association with the event--especially through poignant images that show bush in close proximity to the casket. Did you see Kerry at the Reagan Library today? (Somehow I doubt he rode the bus in and waited in line.)

As for the old 40's era music, have you ever listened to it? I have an XM radio and I often listen to the old 40's channel. They actually had some pretty good music back then. Love the Andrews Sisters. Hey, Mason. WWII-era music does nothing for me. There's a pretty good station here (I think

Hey, thanks for the mention! I did likewise on my blog roll sidebar thingi. Maybe we can send some traffic to each other. Thank you for the link, Mr. Frog. You are officially the first person to ever link to this blog. That deserves something. I don't know what, but till I come up with something b

I have two people on permanent blacklist. Neither for anything said on my blog, but based on my interactions with them on other blogs. They were both insulting and nasty to people without cause. I don't want that garbage on my site. I have blacklisted people at other times just because they temporarily pissed me off, but those blacklistings have been equally temporary.

Frankly, most of them are pretty boring people anyway. Yep, they're "just people." Even the most exceptional of them are still "just people" more than 90% of the time. There's reason to believe that after 3 years the disciples were even beginning to take Jesus for granted despite all the wonders they h

Also to note about the assessment if your child is really smart and say is in the 7th grade but his test results show him at the 13th grade level. This results are skewed and your child is really not at a 13th grade level or capable of the work. That's interesting. I went to private religious schools a

After reading this, I went over to The Interent Movie Database and read up on Picnic at Hanging Rock. It seems there was an extra chapter removed from the book that explained what actually happened to the girls. If you want to know, you can go here to read about it. It's not very good, though. I think we were better

whatever else may be right with the world, therell never be another conway twitty. One of my great regrets in life is not having seen Conway Twitty. One evening on the way back to L.A. from Santa Barbara I noticed that Conway Twitty was playing the Ventura County Fair that night. I almost pulled off th

Reply By: fussyvet Posted: Thursday, May 20, 2004 Hi! How did you know this story? Are you a Buddhist (I'm sorry I might know if I read all your articles, but I don't have time enough to supplement my luck of English ability)? I'm a Christian, very rare case in Japan (Japan has only about one percent Christian). But this story is very nice and

I went and had a look at the article. To me their arguments are tantamount to saying "You can't outlaw rape or they'll start trying to outlaw legitimate sex next!" Dumb. One idiot actually wrote: "Since when are there child porn web sites anyway? I thought it was all IRC and USENET." Talk about head-up-your-arse reasoning.

Sadness, mourning, et al are forms of grief. Anytime we think we are experiencing loss or believe we are about to experience loss we are subject to grieve. What we are losing/have lost doesn't matter. "Things" are irrelevant. "Loss" itself is the defining element.

I've also found that hiring family is not usually a good thing either. Friends and family seem to think they are "special" and you "owe" them something. They begin to think the rules don't apply to them. *sigh* Oh well.

Would you want your daughter to star in a pornographic movie with sleazy men on her eighteenth birthday when she hasn't even experienced one day of adulthood? I wouldn't want my daughter starring in a pornographic movie with sleazy men at any age!

It has been said that for some puzzles, the smarter you are the longer they take to figure out. I figured this one out in about ten minutes, so I accept I must be a moron . Then I must be a freakin' genius, because I've been sitting here all night clicking at the bloody thing and I still haven't
