XP Shell32 - Icon 35 & IconPackager in WinCustomize Talk WinCustomize Forums

Hello folks ... I have been having this problem for a while, and I would like to know if anyone has found a way around it. I cannot figure out how IconPackager can be used to replace the desktop link icon (icon number: 35) in Windows XP's "shell32.dll" file. I know that IP has the option to add the .desklnk file, but that is not the same because if I try saving something from the web, and the save dialog comes up, I get the stinky XP desktop icon. <img src="http://images.stardock.com/i

If you look in the screenshots sectiion, a lot of people have it set to 72 or larger. There must be a setting in regedit, which allows one to do so.

Hello folks, I tried setting my shell icon size to 128, today, using regedit. I was able to successfully change the size of the folder icons and those in the programs list (i.e. the ones to the left of the XP start menu); however, the My Computer/My Documents/Control Panel icons look really choppy. This happens even when I change it to 72, but not when it is set at 64. Does anyone know w

I agree with the people backing the inclusion of a Rainlendar section. That little application is such a lifesaver for me because I would never be able to keep track of all my assignment deadlines and exams if I had to write it down the old-fashioned way. Thanks for your posting, yrag, but that is not what the FAQ says. Here is what the FAQ says: "Ratings How & why are the files at WinCustomize rated?" "To be able to rate a skin you must have either a Apprentice access level or higher, or have a Customer Level (User Level) or either 3 or 4" So, I should be able to rate skins, because my "Customer Level (User Level)" is 3.

I have User Level 3, but I am unable to rate any of the submissions on this site. The FAQ says that people with User Level 3 are able to rate skins, so, why does mine not work? Any help would be appreciated. ^-^
