When I had my computer built, I do remember them telling me they could only sell me Windows xp at the OEM price if I bought it WITH the computer, not a week or two later. It HAD to be bundled with it.

It's frightening, you know? Who knows what's legal or illegal any more. Even lawyers and judges don't know until they are presented a case which could set a precident. Darn! I was thinking of buying the Corel 12 download when my trial runs out. Can a web site that sells illegal software not be discovered by the software giants whom they are supposedly ripping off? Aha! I told you I was new! (Which is the excuse I have for not knowing what I'm doing!) So, if I were to upload just png it would go to misc icons, but for png AND ico it should go to Object Dock? Icon Developer doesn't save gloss layer in Stardock Support General WinCustomize Forums

Whenever I try to make an icon from a png object that I've exported from Corel, icon developer saves it as an ico file but when I open it up, the gloss I create on top of the object doesn't save. It's on the png file, ust doesn't save to the ico file. Anyone else experience this?

Thanks, aufisch, for your response. I uninstalled both programs, and rebooted my computer. I installed desktop x and it worked. Then I installed IconX and neither one worked!! I installed them both from Stardock Central so I don't know what else to do right now. At least I've got DX working, but I really like IconX as well. I'll keep fiddling with it. Thanks again, Donna

WOW again!! It's all way over my head, but I love every minute of it!! I get a kick out of the videos when you (Paul) say that you're going to do something "quickly." Hehe! It takes me days to do what you do "quickly!" Hehehehe! I sincerely appreciate all the effort you put into these tutorials. But thank goodness they are here on file and I can go through them at my own slow pace! Heh!

Yeah, diet, SD! Lately I've even gone so far as to shop at a couple of organic grocery stores, Whole Foods and Wild Oats. Actually, I have Yannge's newest entry (Yahoo for objectdock) on my watch page and I can't rate it nor does it have any downloads, either. I believe there is a bug of some kind? Seems it's not on the ObectDock page, either. I also have PixelPirates wOrse toolbar animations on my watch list with the same problem.
