This is no surprise, I always knew you were a ho. I know, I know. At least I am admitting to it.

I'm a ho. Really. I am. I am a HO. House Officer, that is. And after 6 weeks of this, I feel like I am sort of starting to get the hang of things. There is still way too much I don't know, and I don't even know just how much I don't know at this time. But I am learning every day, and I am getting more comfortable with being a HO. I get dozens of ridiculous pages every day. Some are from nurses who know better, but have to make
Riding a bike is a great way to build up the cardio condition without overly stressing the body. I really do love riding. It is a lot of fun. Just need to get back in the habit. The weather for the latter part of the week didn't exactly help either. <TABLE cellpadding=8 width="95%" align=center bgColor=#FFF394 class="m
Many congratulations to you both!
Man, oh man. I can sympathize. I thought I might cry, just a little, this morning when I tried to get up. Sad how we get old and don't even know it sometimes.
They say you are only as old as you feel. Crap, I must be close to retirement today. I decided that I was decidedly sick and tired of not having time to exercise. So Saturday I resolved to start riding my bike to work. I don't live that far from the hospital, only about 4-5 miles. But heading to the hospital is, well, uphill. All the way. One long, uphill ride. It makes the ride home a lot of fun. But the ride up, well. . . I'm f
Interesting article Maso. I wonder if, because I married relatively young and have moved a number of times (needed a bigger place, moving for school, moving for residency, etc.) that perhaps that is why I don't have a real strong attachment to any one of our flats. Our first was very small, snug, and a little rundown. But it was cheap and close to campus. Perfect for a newly wed couple who were both still in school. We moved to a 2 bedroom townhouse, a
LH: You rule. I agree with you 100%. An "open" relationship that allows for infidelity is just that, a relationship without faith, in which no real trust can occur. It fractures families, lives and homes. All in the name of "freedom". And, like you, I can, and most certainly do condemn the practice. I am sick to death of a society that seems to think that, if we take a stand on an issue (particularly a moral issue), we are evil be
Heck, I can't even log in with IE. I have to use Firefox. I haven't changed anything on my system (and can log in fine over at JU).
Sally wrote an article last week about listing some of your favorites from this site. I have to admit, I was, and am, truly humbled to read that there were a few people who listed me as either their favorite (thanks bro!) or their "most interesting". In fact, NickyG prodded a little by pointing out the my blogging seems to come in spurts. To that, I admit full culpability. These days, I can attribute a lot of that to my schedule. But not all. So, I ha
Very insightful article FS. Glad you decided to post it.
I love Enhanced Dialog. But boy, it pisses me off that it resets itself every time I update. Due to that, I haven't customized for a while now.
Sally: I am flattered. Really. Thanks for the mention. I will see if I can muster up enough brain cells to come up with my list.

Good questions. I read a bunch of articles on the site last night from Wired, engadget, USAtoday, CNET and the like. It appears that the business model is that they are forming exclusive relationships with media providers to deliver content. When you log in you will have all your stuff there, but there will also be some other content if you want, provided by those who are paying for it. As far as I could tell, you don't give anything up other than the info of what media files you have so
Right click on your taskbar and select properties. Where it says TaskBar Appearance select "Auto-hide the taskbar". When you put the cursor to the bottom of the screen it should pop up. That was exactly what he DIDN'T want. <img src="http://images.stardock.com/JU/smiles/Wink.gif" border=0 ALIGN="absmi
I try not to gush too much about things I find online, but this one is just too freaking cool. I am sitting here, at the hospital on an incredibly slow day (all the surgeons on my service are out of town, but I am on call, so here I sit), at a computer in the Resident's call room. Bored, sure, but not nearly as much as I was. I am jamming out to a little Deadsoul Tribe. But the cool thing is, it isn't on my iPod (well, it is, but I don't have it with me). It is on my home PC.<br
Without using third party software, no, I don't. But DesktopX can hide it completely, as can ObjectDock and ObjectBar (I imagine Right Click might do it too).
I've tried, Dev, but some people would rather cling to their coyness, though for the life of me I cannot understand why. Oh, I know you have LW. As I mentioned, I don't think you have every been guilty of playing coy with someone.
I was a geek. No big surprise.
You know, I really don't care for the pissing contests, frankly. I dislike them as well. Sure, they have some entertainment value, but I have already written about that. But, more than anything, I hate people who try to deny they are in the middle of the contest, when the piss is all over them. <TABLE cellpadding=8 width="9
I believe this is a right for every skinner. I don't have a problem with them protecting their work that way. However, they don't belong in the Widget section then.
Guy: Since we color everything we read with our own experiences and opinions, I suppose it is no big surprise that I read it differently that what you profess it to be. No big deal.
Just to show you how much I like you Thatoneguy, I will break my "no replies to self-bumped articles" rule. Good to see you back.
