I think it is one of the better dark, subtle themes available. I really enjoy it when I want something understated.

Perhaps it is because of I am one, but I avoid Doctors at all costs. Most of the time it is because I can figure out pretty much what is going on. Same with my kids. They are acting sick, I have a good idea of what to look for (I have my own otoscope and such, so I give them a quick home physical), and only go to the doctor if I am really concerned, or know I need a prescription.
I think the default Vista Glass theme will be a nice theme to have and fall back on at times (as opposed to Luna blue, which I have never used due to its ugliness). But personally, skinning Vista will be just as much of a priority for me as skinning XP. I look forward to the new options it opens up.

Yep, this is totally dependant on how many fonts you have installed. If you have a lot, it will bog down. If there are no changes to those fonts, it will scan faster after that, but every time you install a new font, it will have to rescan them all, causing the slowdown. The solution is to minimize.

I hate it as well. I decided to try a similar experiment, and even though I made it clear I was married, not interested in meeting people, etc. I still had multiple "slutty chicks" add me to their friend list. It is a bizarre microcosm (almost a macrocosm now), and I just don't understand its popularity.
The error of closing the window you are experiencing happens if you have the folder set to Thumbnail view? If so, this is a known problem with Divx. If you uninstall it the problem will go away. There are other codec packs out there. Some of the best ones also have some "questionable" software in them I have been told. I am not too sure myself, as I haven't looked into them that much. Klitetools.com has numerous packs, you can peruse and find the one that suits you the best.
