Do you remember the first time you saw an advertisement on the inside of a bathroom stall door? That was definately someone thinking - hey who cares if susie loves joe - we have a captive audience here - lol! You are right. I think they could start actually printing ads on the toilet paper itself. The back of grocery receipts have advertisements and coupons, before the movie starts we see local stores and car dealers advertisements, inside our fort
Locamama
This took place in Salt Lake City. Her reason for not having a c section is that she didn't want to have scars. Doctors told her that without a C-section the twins would probably die but she told the nurse that a C section would "ruin her life" and she would rather "lose one of the babies than be cut like that". An autopsy found the baby died two days before its Jan 13 delivery and would have survived if she had the c-section when her doctors urgerd
One of the worst inventions is the automatic answer - press 1 to blah, blah, blah. I hate that. I just want to talk to a person. And then there are the companies that charge you to talk to a real person. It is ridiculous. I truly appreciate good service and I am going to try to make a point to speak up and thank those who actually take the time to be helpful. Yes, I think starting a movement towards more civility and politeness in this world wou
It kind of restores your faith in mankind when someone you don't even know goes out of their way to help you, doesn't it.
You know there are some people who have fat faces but skinny bodies. I have known several people that if you see just their faces you would think they were fat but they weren't. I look good from the neck up - lol! I would love to see a flat tummy again. It may be the impossible dream without an extreme makeover.
I hope it gets better. Go do something nice for yourself. Paint your toenails bright red or maybe just blow bubbles. You can't be miserable while blowing bubbles - really it works.
Hola, I love those moments when you just see something beautiful. I feel like it's something God sent my way just to make me smile for a moment. Thanks for sharing.
I am the opposite and it drives my husband crazy. He stands back so far in line that people don't know he is in line and they cut right in front of him. And of course he doesn't say anything. I don't breathe down people's necks but I am probably closer than 2'. btw, you probably shouldn't go to Disney World - that was the only place on the planet I felt crowded - probably all those foreign tourist who don't understand our American sense of personal
I think we need to change the topic to the great cheese debate. I am adding this to my things that make me laugh - Messy and Muggaz great cheese debate.
This is so true. I have three boys of my own and do homedaycare. Sometimes I get frustrated but when you have those little sweet moments it makes it all worthwhile.
I am so glad that things worked out well for you. My little sister got pregnant when she was still in high school. It really makes you grow up in a big hurry. I hope your story will offer encouragement to someone who thinks things can't get better. Sometimes it amazes me to think back on how hopeless a situation seemed and a few months later things can be complely different. Thanks for sharing.
Lucky for me - I am a Dr. Pepperaholic.
Maybe I'm wrong but I am one of the few who doesn't want to know about the candidates sex lives. Why can't people just keep their private life private. Just because a man is faithful to his wife does not mean he will be a better leader for our country. I know it goes to character etc. but I am sure we could through many great historical figures and find that they have had numerous transgressions. Does it change the impact they made to our society?
I got married at the justice of the peace and I always regretted not having "the wedding". Of course my sister had "the wedding" and she is divorced. I said that the deal was that we would go to Hawaii for our 10th anniversary but that ship has sailed so I guess now I'll plan for our 15th anniversary. I think the main thing that I want is the princess dress and the photo album. I can still dream the Cinderella dream.
Dan - you think you're hot snot but you're really just cold boogers. That's all I have to say.
I think you should help if you can. There are so many times that I feel terrible driving past someone who needs help but I am a scaredy cat who has watched too many lifetime movies. If my hubby is with me we stop but if I'm by myself I don't.
You can pick your friends but you can't pick your relatives, an unfortunate fact of life. I have had my feelings hurt mainly by my mom and I tell myself I don't care but if I didn't care it wouldn't hurt. I have since decided that my hubby and kids are my "real" family. I try to be civil and polite with my family but I do not go out of my way to see them - they live across the country and none of them have ever visited me since I moved out when I was 18. Though I must admit that I am jealous
I have to say that I think a federally run universal health program would probably be horrible. I am a military spouse and it is one of the biggest frustrations in my life dealing with Tricare.
I am from a small town but I feel like it is harder to fit in when you move to a different small town. Like you said everyone already knows everyone else and you're the stranger and outsider. I have felt like it is very clique - ish where I live. I have made a good friend who is also new to town and it helps to have her but I felt very alone for the first six months I lived here. Of course, it definately is friendlier as far as waves and smiles.
I just get tired of the whole slick politician thing. It would be nice to see someone with a little personality. Someone who doesn't just listen to advisers but actually can be themselves. I was not the biggest Dean fan in the world but I think its sad to see him become another stuffed shirt who sticks to the script because if he doesn't he loses his electability. I am also tired of the whole - he doesn't look presidential. I think its stupid - D
He will still be popular in the states. This will all blow over. My boys love the croc hunter and they aren't going to stop loving him because of this.
funny - I loved the dodge trucks one.
You are a WAHM - work at home mom - that's what I am too. I do home daycare so I can bring some income into the house and also be here for my boys. But it is hard. People think if you are home that you are not working and believe me I work. I do think women can in general be very hard on each other. There was a great show on Dr. Phil about SAHM ws. working moms. I think you are doing a great job of finding a happy medium. Basically, I think you
I agree. There are wacko extremist in any religion. Jim Jones and David Koresh were Christians. Most people did not allow them to convince them that all Christians were wacko extremist. At least the Saudi government is now starting to crack down on the calls to violence by Muslim clerics. It's a start.
This is so funny because its true. I am an annoyance at the post office because I do card and scrapbook swaps and have to have my return postage included but I have to weigh it first. I go first thing when they open and get everything as ready as I can though. I used to work at Lowes and it would kill me the people who would walk in as or after we were closing. The store rules said that we can't ask them to leave but some would literally stay in there after we turned the lights off. If that
