You got military victory if there isn't any major Civs left. Carinoids, Scottlingas, Kwilasians, Alexians, I-league, Funsamentalist ... are all minors AI and, aren't taken in account when deterimining military or alliance victory.
Go for it if you think your made of the right stuff.... I challenge you....
I have just a problem: I haven't AP. So I am currently submitting 52-55K games.
can you please clarify ??
Ok. To summarize what I have posted: With submitting only 60K, you get 1 million points if you submit: 278 games in 30 days or 148 games in 60 days with a submission rate of 74 games per month or 105 games in 90 days with a submission rate of 35 games per month or 84 games in 120 days with a submission rate of 21 games per month or 70 games in 150 days with a submission rate of 14 games per month or 66 games in 180 days wit
It would be very interesting to see tables of plans of stratagy on how to get to the magic million with the least number of games etc...
I guess I can answer this one. First a small reminder: games are stocked in block: block 0 : games aged from 0 to 30 days, no aging block 1 : 31-60, 5% aging block 2 : 61-90, 10% aging block 3 : 91-120, 15% aging block 4 : 121-150, 20% aging block 5 : 151-220, 25% aging block 6 : 221-290, 30% aging
Ok, so I've played 4 games and submitted them all to the metaverse....according to my math, when I add up all the scores I shoud have gotten, I get a total of 8299. However, Metaverse claims my score is 4147. Is this a miscalculation on my part, and do things not work as I think they do, or is this a problem of some sort? Thanks.
This link http://www.galciv.com/forum.asp?id=186632&BID=GF&page=1#186843 has some nice explanations about metaverse scoring [Message Edited]
There was an exploin where you put a few of them together in a fleet with each one have a +1 speed bonus and you could get them to move a helluva lot faster. I've never tried it myself, so I don't know if it works
It thinks it was closed. I no longer used moving party palace since I use alliance Win and influence calculation from starbase has been changed.
Hi I understand a patch is available for Altarian Prophecy, however I need to register with this total games thingy. two problems
No. If you have AP, you have a valid serial ID associated. And it is one of the thing needed to patch the game. The other thing is a computer with AP, Stardock Central and Internet access. You can then update AP with Stardock central, create an archive with stardock central, transfer this archive to your home PC and them use Stardock centra
The most known is the +40%PQ flag,
This a +40% PQ at empire level (F4 screen, stats tab). The planetary level bonus doesn't trigger this flag. Even if individually, mods that enhance the PQ bonus (through wonder, improvement, pol party) are certified and won't trigger the anomalous flag, using all these mods and being able to build all wonder/improvemnt that give empire level PQ bonus can trigger the anomalous flag if the empire level PQ bouns reach 40%. Strange, for me, the search function was to find topics that have specific words in it. Not the posts.
Don't forget: your morality don't change with the offensive use of Terror Star :) . After all, armaggeddon means the final battle between good and evil (or evil in disguise), so everything against your foes (not your own peple) is admitted to win the final battle :) [Message Edited]

About turn: what are the options checked between auto end of turn and end of turn skip movement left?
So when I install it on the new computer I just need to put the serial number in again and use the same email and alias and it should work
Yes.
Will my old acount still work if I change computers, and will I need to do anything to get it to work the same as it did on this computer? (My metaverse acount, submitting games etc.)
From a metaverse point a view, the only important things are: - your serial - your e-mail - the player you use when submitting The computer you are using has no importance.
As to preorder: What do you guys call totalgaming.net?
Getting money from beta test? LOL
The best tax rate is when your planets moral is at 100%
There is a link between population growth and morale, as explained here http://www.galciv.com/forum.asp?BID=GS&id=155077#186188 [Message Edited]
Usually, it's because I don't have the money to build what I need.
Are you trying to rush build social improvement or ships? Because it generally a bad idea. If you want to be able to produce faster thing you can: - raise spending rate (F4 screen). Try not to drop below -500BC since all spending will be cut in this case. - Change spending ratio (by default it is 33% on military, social and research). If you want to spend some turns to produce fastly colony ships, you
pourquoi vous ne sortez pas d origine comme beaucoup d autres jeux galactic civ2 en multi languages french,deutch,spain etc;;;;
For non french speaking people, the question was: Why don't you produce, like many others games, Galactic Civilization II in many languages like french, german, spanish?
My anti-matter missiles get taken out as I can't seem to protect them during a protracted war
Are using putting them with others ships (who have a high defense) in a fleet? Don't forget that you could always move a fleet, split it before attacking, and rebuild it after the attack.
Since there were talks about war stories, maybe this thread should be bumped. note that the diplomat forum is now located at http://www.diplomats-empire.com/forum/ [Message Edited]
Gaius, I think that we all want to know what was the problem if you finally manage to correctly use your serial ID.
I broke my golden rule never assume anything.
Nope, the golden rule is : assume good faith. That is what I have done :) [Message Edited]
the Galactic Exhibition on the biggest (which by that time should have a Manufacturing Capital).
Just a minor remark: since Galactic exhibition give planetary inflence bonus with the empire wide influence bonus, it could be interesting to build it on a planet whose star has a high base influence. Sol is in this case, since every homeworld has a base influence of 21 when yellow stars rarely exceed 14. [Message Edited]
