How can i get it back?
Sure, send an e-mail to the support of stardock. i think their e-mail is this one : You may also want to check this thread http://www.galciv.com/forum.asp?BID=GF&id=189095 which was also on this topic
Looks like a nice overflow to get lots of BC :)
on the subject of diplomacy, I've noticed how easy it is for me to drain thousands of credits (or dollars?) from the AI, simply by researching lot's of cheap techs, and selling them off to everyone. considering how the minor races always seem to have huge amounts of cash, it's almost like a limitless well of money!
That is true at the easiest level. On hardest levels, you won't get money with tech.
is it just me, or does diplomacy really overpower the human pl
Also, what is the official StarDock policy on making mods given the license statement and altering thier text files?
Normaly, you shouldn't alter the files. But you could duplicate them and put them in the mods folder
It seems to me altering the English.str files and other files could affect the race mod choices
It works both ways: ie the AI play the same game than you. If you use a mod, they can use it too. So if you create a powerful political pa
I've build 3 starbases so far I believe, but none of them actually cost me any money to build.
What is the size of your map?
Does you have the problem if playing without mods? The crash could be linked with one of the mods that doesn't behave correctly.
I noticed all the old minor races which I used to trade tech for money (or tech) early in the game don't begin at the game start anymore.
In AP, there is an option about turing off the stating minors.
I am not sure to really catch the aim of this mod. Is this just a way to have always something to build? Because I don't see on budget the difference with the "nothing" social improvement
Wotts in target sights.......... Damn! No contrract issued at this time. However it is good to practise
Sure, but only if this doesn't prevent you to find a target under contract LOL LOL LOL
Playing Original Galciv./Patch 1.21 with Mods.
Have you the problem with no mods? What mods are you using?
Was there a change to let star bases in GC AP be free
The number of free starbase is linked with the radius of the galaxy, the greater the galaxy, the bigger the number of free starbases. But I don't know how it works with custom maps.
Was that all there was to it? Use "Archive Application" from the File menu of SDC to create the archive, delete the app, then use "Restore Archive" to put it on the new drive? Seems too easy to be true
I think that it is the correct procedure. But I may be wrong.
Well, I don't remember the thread. But what is exactly your problem? Creating an archive or extracting it to the drive you want? [Message Edited]
IBH standing ready to carry out the contract for the Evil Empire.
But we still need that the previous one end in way or in another. :) And that the contract is formally presented to IBH :)
One of our operatives is now shadowing Skythe2k4!
That is a really good idea, since he is difficult to found here in the forums LOL
All the mods are fully tested and will not cause anomalous scores.
I guess it is better to say "will not INDIVIDUALLY cause anomalous score".
Elimination foiled due to inacurracy of weapon used against the Halutian. You may not be so lucky next time, Icho Tolot LOL
Target Icho Tolot seen. Proceeding to elimination ..... Target eliminated Contrat asked here http://www.galciv.com/forum.asp?BID=GE&id=191527#191647
I wonder if my population shooting up at the end triggered the anomalous stuff.
What was your empire wide PQ bonus?
I've been submitting a lot of games lately hoping to avoid the empty blocks damage
You will always experience the drop: you just can't add games in previous blocks, which is the only way to correct empty block. On the bright side, if you keep submitting games regularly, on the 12/02/04, you will no longer have empty block since the game from the 08/03/04 will enter the 121-150 days old block and the 06/21/04 will be in the 151-220 days old block. If you submi
I submit 3 masos a night, everybody said I should of burned out months ago.
Well, every rule has some exceptions LOL
.. I have 3 empty blocks.. and when they age and get aligned into blocks then my score plummets and takes forever to catch up again..
Well, since one of those empty period goes from 03/13/04 to 05/02/04 (50 days without submission), it has now reach the 70 days blocks, so it won't be no longer generate empty block. But the following submissions you have made will generate one empty block: - 06/21/04 - 08/03/04 - 08/31/04 And the empty block
I struggle to handle anything above normal difficulty and I note regularl successes at Masochistic.
As you maybe aren't aware, but lots of fun come from trying to understand how to beat the AI. When you have found the trick, you might be able to increase your submission rate (having a fast computer and turning off some options help too). There is a cap at 60K. In 1.21, it can only be achieved on military win on gigantic maso. But with AP (1.51), you can have it win a
2 million that is a magical milestone far away in the distance ...
For those interested, to have the progression table for 2 millions, you just need to multiply the number of games by 4 when using the progression table for 1 million. :)
