The trade goods table p.52 lists galactic achievement.

Well, I know it is annoying. But in GCI, I played the diplomatic guy, that esnure that every race is fighting each other And have you checked if alliances were involved? Web of alliances can be pretty annoying.
i checked "show social event only if empty queue" then when first colonizing a planet, i queue up a factory and a starport and, voila! instant notification of an brand new starport. But this can only work if the starport is the last thing in your queue.
Well, have you look at your options? There is a "show GNN report" and a "show social event only if empty queue".
Well, I think that are 2 things when considering a ship design: - the things that cost something and are linked with your technology (sengine/support/offense/defense) - the extra which translate generally into lots of time to have something looking good. It might be very nice to be able to reuse ships that have only the extra allowing them to have "family" of similar ships.
In the ending details, the military report is inaccurate about ships killed (both ennemy and personnam: it shows 0 while I know that ships have been destroyed: I have watched my fleets slaugthering others fleets.
BTW, there isn't any fun to redefine the same ship over and over in each game you are playing. It will even reduce the number of extras that will be used to defined them: Why to bother to make a cool looking ship if you can't use it in another game?
I have some habits (perhaps a bit compulsive) when naming ships, where I always use the same names, like "Colonizer I" and "Constructor I". I am continuously prompted to confirm if I want to overwrite an existing ship design, even though I am playing a new game. What does that do to the old game (if I tried to reload it)? <TABLE cellpadding=8 w
Playing as Thalan and wiping the humans, I decide to contact the Arceans. And I got the following message: "When it comes to talking to the mighty leader of [YourEmpirename], the pleasure is all ours"
Playing heavily with shipyard, I am annoyed by 3 things when designing a ship: - First, the inability to use an already existing model as a blue print. If I would like to build 3 ships that looks similar and can be used at the same time, I need to buid them from scrath each time. A duplicate button is really missing - Second, there is no way to limit the red dots to those associated with a specific component. That could be very nice to have this kind of feature and would limit some pro
Well, it is a beta. Aren't we supposed to try everything to see how it reacts ?
1/ I have seen that myselft 2/ I think it is like in GCI: free diplomatic round on reload to prevent savegame abuse
And it is very nice to be able to control population without resorting to having a morale of 50% like it was the case in GC I
Unless I am mistaken, but people are angry because they are too numeroius, not because the population can't increase. It is just what farming do: allowing you to control the siez of planet population.
It would be great if in the ship building screen I could press a button and make the red dots go away so I can see the ship clearly. There is one: have you looked at all buttons in the panel that rotate/zoom ship when designing them? Espcially the bottom left one ?
Well, one must be very cautious since sometimes you may want the "obsolete" version: on small hull, the mass driver IV has a cost of 120 for a damage of 4 while the mass driver III has a cost of 30 for a damage of 2.
Well, I have retried and it works. But I did find somethiong strange: one ennemy ships was orbiting the planet. And When I have trageted the planet with a fleet composed of Transport and fighter, I didn't fight a space war but I got directly the screen for invasion where I needed to hit the stpace bar. I didn't have any choice for chosing the kind of invasion.
Have you looked at "My Documents/My Games"?
I surely have missed something: what is requried to invade a planet? I have done the following: - build 3 fighters - build 2 transport (with 2 transport module each) - put the 5 ships in a fleet. This fleet attack the planet and kills the defending ships. After that, I am unable to invade the planet: - the 5 ships fleet won't attack the planet - after having split the 2 transports from the fleet, each transport or even the 2 merged in a fleet won't attack the
Well, given that at the beginning they haven't lots of military, I understand better why I have seen lots of surrender in the beginning of the game, even if no troops transporter were available.
HOWEVER, what we CAN do, is make some small "Reorientation" structures that take a hartpoint that points 'left' and make it point 'Up', or one that points 'Up' and you want to have point "Down". This would give used a bit more creative flexability without totatlly changing the format. Isn't already one component doing something similar? the 5th extr
Well, it doens't really make sense for the beta UNLESS you are playing the beta on another computer than the one used to download the beta. And what would you like to install GCII manually?
9) Have you try to click on all the buttons located right to the minimap. There is one that display cultural influence. It is the first on the seconf row of icons, the onewith the 3 intertwined disk. 11) Not sure to understand exactly what you are searching: there is a detail screen for each planet, showing all bonuses, imorvement and allowing you to destroy the colony. If you are searching for the formula, I don't think it will be here, since that is the kind of things that will sure
I want add that it is a bit annoying not to know what ships you have already mad in previous games and what you need to unlock them, as you can end up overwriting them if you design a new ship with the same name. BTW, I have found that the 5th extra is very nice: it allows you to connect elements with various angle. The tricky part is to get the correct red dot.
Well, I managed to do an upgrade on a custom ship. But I needed to copy the ships files to folder where predesigned ships are stored.
