"There was definitely a large enough sampling (1017 respondants) for it to be statistically valid." Valid for what? Online polls are basically only good for entertainment purposes. The networks gets tens of thousands (if not more) online poll respondents, and even they don't claim for it to be for anything other than entertainment value. <img src="http://images.stardock.com/images/smiles/sb.gif" border=0 ALIG

I haven't been able to connect to news.stardock.com since last night. Just tried connecting to irc.stardock.com and no luck there, either. No problem with www.stardock.com, though. Anyone else having the same problem, or is it a problem with my ISP?

sig101 -- I personally don't think it's a big deal either way. However, the difference is the walls in the library are derivative works, while the specific wall being discussed here in this thread is an exact copy.

I agree with most of what you said, Paul, but when you pay for something, I think it gives you the right to criticize it, when the product is not as good as you expect. The definition of a troll is someone who posts for the sole reason of inflaming people to solicit as many responses as possible. I'm not sure I've seen that here. I think people are giving honest opinions. Their tact may not be what it should be, but I don't think they're trolling. Some people think a troll is anyone who gives a dissenting opinion. That is not the case at all. Even if you only post once and go away, that doesn't make you a troll. <A HREF="https://

grayhaze - Yeah, I too thought that was weird that it monitors specific IP addresses instead of network connections. Fortunately, I have an almost static IP address. werewolf - Thanks, I haven't tried installing any new themes yet, but that's a good one to keep in mind. I like the idea that authors are allowing to monitor a different number of drives. <img src="http://images.stardock.com/images/smiles/sb.gif"

I'm having redraw problems here. Every time I minimize with a news or discussion page open, when I restore, it briefly shows the proper page and then it all turns white. I have to roll-up/down or do something else to force a redraw.
