Yeah, it has some of the same features as ImageFox, which I've grown to love. However, ImageFox looks horrible, because it tries to attach itself to normal open/save dialogs, and the results are often really, really bad on skinned dialogs. I've also tried Hyperionics' solution, which adds buttons to the titlebar. And as Chris said, that's no good with skinned windows (though WB4 promises to change that). I also much prefer the combo box for favorites instead of ImageFox's but

If they're zipped, you can create a batch file to rename them all to .wba. That will work unless it's actually multiple (not compound) skins zipped into one file.

Just discovered a very cool app called File-Ex that adds a ton of functionality to the standard open/save dialogs, both with and without Common Dialogs buttons. It has such features as auto-size/center/position/etc. It can automatically open each dialog in Details mode by default! It has such functions as Copy, Move, New Folder, Find, etc. It can remember an app's last open folder, even if the app doesn't. It maintains history and favorites for both files and folders in nice drop-do

Just installed this. Very cool, though it could use a few tweaks to the installation and interface here and there. But all in all, it seems to work well, and even works in SkinBrowser. Thanks for the link!

I could be wrong about this, as it's been awhile since I did it this way, but I think if you drag your files to a shortcut of wbload.exe, it will install all of them at once. It's at least worth a try.

Yeah, I just noticed that conversion utility in SkinStudio earlier today myself, though I haven't tried it yet. I agree that it would be nice if more skin authors offered a UIS1 version of their skin, especially since it's now so easy.

Bill - I think it's a bit presumptuous of you to state "the reason we are subscribing." While I too am glad to help out with the site, the main reason why I subscribed was for the browser. At the time there wasn't even the free version they have now.

I think you can uninstall SP1 from the Add or Remove Programs screen. I did a new install with SP1 slipstreamed, so I can't check, but I believe that's the case.

If you have Windows XP, you can do that without WindowBlinds. Control Panel > System > Advanced > Performance Settings > Use drop shadows...

If you're using the shareware version, you have to load a theme each time you log on. You have to buy the paid version in order for it to retain your settings.

It's been awhile since I tried Webshots, so I apologize if I mischaracterized it. I just never liked the whole concept. YMMV. The thing I like about Wallpaper Changer is I can set it to monitor a directory (including subfolders), and I can add and delete wallpapers and subfolders at will and it will automatically keep track of the changes. paxx: You've got your economics backwards. That people pay the high ticket prices allows teams to pay higher salaries; the high salaries don't lead to high ticket prices. It's the spyware that's NOT so obvious that you should be worried about. I don't know whether or not Webshots is spyware. Spychecker http://www.spychecker.com/index.html doesn't list it, so it may very well be clean. However, I do agree that it's a lot of bloat for a wallpaper changer.
