Yes, this idea has been tossed around and is on our list of things to get implemented

The map building tools that we used for the campaign missions, in its current state, is a buggy POS so you don't want to use it. We'll be releasing all the editors at a later date in an expansion or something, once we have time to make them rock-solid for the users.

One thing I suggest when negotiating is pad your offers with $$$ Once you get close to a near equal trade, you add just enough BCs to make the deal even on all sides. However, keep in mind that if you give a race a really good deal (your 1 weak techs for 2 stronger techs) they will appreciate it and likely raise relations, so always making a trade perfectly even isn't always ideal.

Not at the moment, but we have talked about putting a local 'High-Score' list in an patch/expansion pack so players can chart their progress. We can always keep track of all these numbers for people that want to compare the nitty-gritty data

If you havn't already, try contacting [email protected] with this issue. Sometimes your account info will be off for some reason, and it jsut takes a bit of help on our end to get things properly linked up - I dont know how accounts are handled, otherwise I'd help ya Good luck getting this sorted out!

I dont know about other players, but there are times where I'll hammer on the turn button to quickly pass through 3-4 weeks (in-game weeks, mind you), mostly if im at the cusp of a new technology, or if nothing important needs my attention. There's probably SOMTHING you could be tweaking, optimizing, or messing with, but in my experience sometimes it just makes more sense to skip to the next turn

Sounds like you'll need to contact [email protected]. They should be able to get this straightened out (if you used 2 different emails the serial number is probably jsut linked to the incorrect one). Sorry for the frustration, and good luck getting it straightened out!

Sorry you had to pull apart your computer like that but just for future reference, you CAN use your existing SN to download the game from SDCentral, so if you still have problems, give that a whirl As for a real-time version, we've discussed such a thing in passing, but it's still at "backburner" status, but with the unexpected (yet highly enjoyed) success of GC2, this could c

You can rotate entire sections...if you select a peice that has a long list of componenets attached to it, they will rotate as well. I saw it in action and coulnd't beleive it. We were originally told it would take a month just to get real-time resizing in, and Jesse was able to get it in, along with rotation, in a day. You guys will flip! edit: sigh, that wasn't a pun...i just need a broader vocabulary <img src="http://images.stardock.com/gc2/T_DL/smiles/Wink.gif" bor

Could you post your system specs? Perhaps they will reveal clues as to what is going wrong. Also, if you have the time, try downloading StardockCentral (https://www.stardock.com/products/sdcentral/) where us can use your serial number to download the entire game (updates and all). Hope this helps!

Just for kicks, can you try downloading Stardock Central (https://www.stardock.com/products/sdcentral/) which will allow you to download the game over the internet. My best guess is that, perhaps, the CDs aren't playing nice with the dvd burner (but thats just my VERY uneducated guess). Let us know if the download version works, or if you get anywhere with the CD version.

Hey Dallee! Glad you're enjoying the game...he're my take on these two issues. 1.) Technicially, what we should have done, is limited the tech tree so you could only get so far each turn. I know that some people are asking for the rollover-techs feature, but it may be a tad game-imbalancing when, in the earlier missions, you can build up techs very easilly, and could theoreticially get all the way up the tree in Mission 1 and just coast the rest of the way. We'll chat about this one a

From what I understand paradox is handling localization in Europe and countries on that side of the pond. Check their site to see what they have planned, but I beleive they're translating everything (text and voices) Hope you find what you're looking for!

What alot of people are doing are going into the "Battle of the God's" scenerio, where all races start off with all techs. Here you can design away, then have the ships pop up in future games! Have fun!

Weird...havn't noticed this before. Could you pose your debu.err with your system specs so we can see what could be the problem? Thanks!
