Just have to copy and paste it to th reply.

If you have a sound economy you can launch them and the population will be able to grow again so that when you are ready for war you don't take the tax hit on your economy then. Thanks for the advice FC. Never thought about it from that stand point. As an evil dictator, I didn't want them freeloaders wriggling out of paying me <img src="http://im
Version v1.0 last updated on: Mon Feb 6 12:52:05 2006 You need to update to the latest version. Try that first and see if it helps. ahh... NM
Well. If you liked this thread check out the one entitled Lord Pinko : Social Experiment, it kinda has a conclusion to this thread. Ahh here it is: Lord Pinko Social Experiment
You should just have to put them in your /MyDocuments/MyGames/GalCiv2/Ships directory. AFAIK.
what is Necromancy by definition? Reviving a dead thread.
I stopped building Ye olde privateer back in V1.2 because of that bug. It must be an AI thing that is complex to fix, otherwise the devs would of got that one by now.
lol A little late to the party
You may have to go to tool/register product then scroll to DA and enter your serial. Then click register and it should say install, instead of purchase.
I usually build transports with just one adv. module, rest is speed. The speed thing is changing, so my transports probably will as well. I usually build enough transports to take every planet on the map before I ever go to war(if I'm in a position to dictate war). I usually leave them on my planets till I'm ready to position for attack, as to not lose the tax money from all those citizens just sitting in space. I have run transports with multi modules, but if soldiering is high enough you don't
Sounds great I was wondering if we will get a printed manual with the cd option or if it will be .pdf only?
Earth 2150 trilogy Also a great, albeit complicated RTS.Hard to find two of the three in stores too.
Btw. Has the research tree been reorganized or just the tech names changed? Brad talks some about the changes in this journal entry. WWW Link
If the Drengin super is giving them thousands of ships, like reported by some. It is probably that. Kind of like the vengeance event that seems to bring PCs to their knees at times.
The updated tech tree has not been put in yet. Brad said the build recieved by Gamespot for their preview had it, but it isn't in our beta yet.
ahhh... Never thought about doing that. Thanks for the reply.
Hey! where'd you get the devil smily? It's not in my smily dropdown/list.
What would you call exploiting a weakness in the AI? I'm not sure about others, but until Brad's explaination of how the AI works I had no idea high speed wasn't the "designed" way to play. I learned, as probably a lot of people did, a lot about playing this game from these forums. A lot of top players' technique seemed to involve speed, so I mad
I know it's a little OT for this thread, but since your mentioning the next build features. Any word on the future of the Epic Generator? Looking forward to the updates . I'm already purposely limiting my speed in my current game, so I can adjust.
ahh.. great workaround, I hadn't thought of that.
Look in the Journals section for Frogboy/Draginols Gameplay examples. He just posted one the other day.
I can't believe they have a wiki for wtf, is there anything that isn't there.
You got me thinking bout this Mumble. I want to try to test it, but with a lot of the planet flipping stuff happening under the surface,(the rolls and that) it would probably be pretty difficult to get an accurate gauge. I have had situations in game where I would have several planets in a system rebelling. One would rebel almost immediately, while the others held on for years till conquered. If I run into this situation again, I'll try to get all the info I can on the various factors that could
thank you in advance -MU Is that you Master U? If so Welcome Back
I did not know this. Are you sure? When I was a noob asking about flipping planets, I was told by people that a high morale will make it harder to flip planets. I have to admit, it is heresay. I never saw anyone dispute it though, when it was told to me. Maybe Kryo or someone can confirm if this is true or not. I hate giving false info, but somet
