Specifically, if another race builds an influence starbase near my planets, how can I moniter its affects When you have a planet selected in the info in the center of the UI. You'll see Influence and a number, the number is what your planet is producing. Next to that is a number in perentheses, that is the foreign influence on the planet, if it

Megvolt there must be something wrong with your game if it's still tripping cheat flag. Make sure your exe doesn't have the cheat tag added on it. I've heard this by itself won't trip the flag as long as you don't actually use the cheats, but it's better to be safe. Otherwise you need to email or post in bug reports your problem and see what they say could be the prob..
I'd like to suggest that there could be many different innocent reasons behind this. It's a little premature to go on a witch hunt. Always the voice of reason. After seeing all the characters stats. It looks like Megvolt started out using c
Well.. My original reason for wanting the option is all the built in races have there's prechosen. Why not mine?
Oh cmon I didn't use cheat codes the Yor prob have somthing wrong! Think your on the losing side here(most are against Wheel). You are asking for basic strats on several threads and posting 100K plus scores. Little fishy.
Imperium Galactica 2 was a real time 4x game. Very well done. Could have been a lot better but the ideas were outstanding. I'm glad to see another fan of this great game. I still pull it out and give a play once in a while. Had a couple flaws, but considering the ambitious gameplay elements. Real fun game. <img src="http://images.stardock.com/gc2
I third the seconding or second the thirding. The silence is deafening.
I know what you mean, when you go to customize a race to use they don't give you access to the sliders in the personality screen. I can understand some of them being disabled, since things like aggression is not needed for your own race.I thought you should at least be able to choose a starting alignment for your custom race, but that slider is disabled too.
will the autopilot code be taught how to drive around asteroids when a ship has enough movement points to make the detour clearly worthwile? I sure hope so. As it stands now, when I set a ship on auto I have to check the route and work around the Asteroids. Treating them like the resources would be great. Only miners could occupy the same space a
I'd like to see a small page taken from Imperium Galactica II's spy system. Where you have an improvement like a spy center. For each center you build you get the ability to produce +1 spy. You'd have the building maintenance/tile space as limiting factors on how many spies you can have. Devs would also have another balancing tool for the spies via adjusting building cost and maintenance. To be honest I haven't dealt with the spy system much. I put three spies out to get high espionage,
ok Thanks for the info. I'm going to check to see if my autosave from before the battle was over written, I'll get it zipped up and sent in if I still have it.
ahh..that's no help for you. Sry. Thumbnails are the small representations of the main image, that you click on to view the full image. I haven't used Dropfile so I'm unsure of how their system works, but I'm sure others on here have and can give some insight.
Me either. I've had problems posting pics before. If your using something like imageshack, just copy the Thumbnail for websites code into the post, don't use the insert image button on here. I have found that screws it up displaying. I made that mistake a couple of times before realizing it. Hope this helps.
Was playing when one of my custom opponents were attacking the Dark Yor during the AIs turn. I zoomed in to watch it and the DY defender won(it was only an escort attacking). Then the whole thing just stopped, no turn button ever reappeared and The defender was stuck superimposed over the planet.(see screenie) Thing is I still had full control could move around give orders, but it acted as it had just never finished the turn. I was able to save and upon a reload it's back to working. When I relo
I think I wasn't real clear when I said the Dread Lords are designed tough either way. I'm sure their AI is adjusted also, but their scenario setup has them way more powerful anyway. The advantage would still lean your way if you have more than one AI one your side, as you'll have two or more smarter AIs helping you and the DLs still are just one.
heh..Sorry bout that. I'm so used to everybody doing the gigantic everything abundant thing I didn't think there was anybody that plays like me anymore. I like smaller maps like the threeway scenario and such, can be a great challenge when everyone has just three planets equally balanced. You can see how you really stack up to the AI with the same amount of planets.
Well that is completly bass ackwords. If I am on beginner, the computer should help me more not less It does sound backwards, but you gotta take into consideration a weak AI opponent is also a weak AI ally. The dread lords are going to be just as tough ei
Just remember, when on those campaign maps with allies. If you set the AI to beginner then your allies are at that level. If you bump up the AI settings your allies should fight a little more effectively against the DLs. Just be careful if they turn on you though.
Awhile back I was in a game, did my usual gradual build up ignoring the AI for the most part. When I decided it was time to remove a neighbor I forgot to check the treaties screen. Low and behold I attack and four civs respond by declaring war on me. I checked, they were all allied. I eventually won it, but I never go to war without checking alliances now.
Hey, what do you guys think about the solution I proposed ten posts ago. I'm pretty sure it's the absolute best way to deal with constructor micromanagement Sorry . Your idea wouldn't work for me. My constructors have a destination planned before their even
Both of Sony's formats will fail. For the same reason their Beta-max failed. They want all control of the format without allowing other companies to support them. Universal Media Disc is anything but Universal if Sony is the only one using it. Blu-Ray will be the same. They just don't learn from their mistakes. Just my Opinion.
That is just one example. There is many enhancements to the graphics. It's pretty cool to zoom in and see 8-10 ships orbiting a planet, all in scale with each other. The planets themselves look nicer also. It's always been fun to zoom in to look at all the detail in things, now there's even more detail to look at . Oh yea the asteroids look great too. I just thought the dev team did a great job enhan
ahh.. I understand the limits now . It would take some massive processing power to calculate that many probabilities. That also explains the slowdown people have on larger maps with many AI ships, as the AI has a lot of "thinking" to do.
So ships gettign 40 moves per turn is not something the AI has been designed to deal with. I was thinking about that after seeing your previous post. Would there be a way to get the AI to focus more on speed and their related tech's. It would be pretty awesome if an AI declared war and next turn you got transports popping out of the fog of war hi
I couldn't believe the Gamespot preview missed the graphical enhancements so completely, as to say there wasn't any in DA. Here's an Econ. Base in GCII Now for comparison, here is one from DA. <a href="http://img357.imageshack.us/
