I feel ya on that....it's hard for people to comment on poetry sometimes because they don't want their comments to be taken the wrong way or because they're not sure what they got out of it reflects what the author hoped. I mean, check my stuff sometime.....half the time I don't know what I meant to say. I've read through a lot of the stuff I wrote in high school and realize how much I think I've improved...and maybe I have or haven't from

not only did it not make sense, apparently it didn't make enough of an impression to generate any thoughts worth posting. Don't you hate it when you get all excited about your article and the chatter dies so quickly. Boo...(directed at everyone except for those with comments above)

I really did dig that flick. Especially the mix of tall-tale humor and romance....it was super cute. A definite Tim Burton movie.

I can feel all of you on what you're saying here...but yeah, not exactly the parallels I was hoping to draw. We can justify a lot of our attraction to the body simply on the basis of primitive desires and instinct. But that doesn't explain why someone might develop a foot fetish or other type. In fact, I've been told that those who are drawn to rubber/latex as a key accessory to their sexuality are born not made. I find this difficult to understand

Okay guys here goes. Apparently my friends thought it was really entertaining when I brought up this idea this weekend so I thought I'd push my luck and bounce it off you guys. I hope it doesn't come as any shock that from time to time I've caught myself gazing at porn. I used to feel bad about this but everything in moderation right? I don't have any subs

Thx Fawn...I think I have some alcohol influenced ramblings I scratched down this weekend that may show up here soon.

Cause I can't stop clicking submit, because there's way too little effort in it, spit it...out, smile, cry, or pout, I'm out....like a fat kid in dodgeball yo, like a white hat wearing kid in the middle of the drag show, I got no....release or satisfaction, until no one reacts to my overreaction, the traction...is definitely getting thi

Well I'm glad you got a chuckle out of it. Forgive me, but Friday is usually my day reserved for sarcastic responses so I wanted to make sure I was making my quota. Well back to work, time to fight over the swings with 4 year olds.

Thanks for your comments guys. Jimbo, I will definitely take a look at your blog regarding such tomfoolery. Chris - word on the toupees, good or bad, they should be illegal (except for cancer patients)....and comeovers too....just shave that ish off man. I do always enjoy emailing state officials. Sometimes I get responses back that I know must be aggravating to write since they can't come off as the jerkfaces that we can. Power

Chris, I was going to make an entry about this awhile ago but my keyboard doesn't work at my apt. right now so I actually have to cut and paste each individual character into my email log-in if I want to read my email there. So I need to open writing documents that contain the necessary characters to do so. I will eventually get a new keyboard, but I'm kind of diggin the eccentricness (word?) of the whole process. I was thinking about writing a poe

This is currently my favorite verse of any rap song right now. These guys gotta lott talent and if you ever take the time to read the lyrics they've got some conscious things to say while they're making your ass bounce in the car. From the song Work in Progress on the album Wooden Leather. Even big rappers are occasionally great poets. [Verse t

Thanks for the props man. Annie, who has graced the blog for the first time with a comment the other day road back home with me yesterday and said her goal was to be able to keep up with me at my regular pace in two weeks. I told her that I would be super pissed if she was able to do so...when asked why (this conversation partially taking place while we're biking) I asked if she wanted to see my regular pace to which she started yelling at me after a

So I went to bed last night with the thought that, cold or no cold, I'm going to get on my bike. To my happy surprise I woke up feeling much better got on my bike for the first time in 4 days (I know, not a long time to most of you) and made it to work in my usual time. I even went back home for my extended lunch break so I'll probably bank a good 40+ miles today wh

Now was it really half a monkey, or just half of an arm that belonged to a complete monkey, but then again, I guess if he was missing any of his arm he wouldn't be complete. "Corn on the cob man, that's a bullshit expression, see that's the way it comes out of the ground. They should call that corn, and every other version corn off the cob. It's not like you'd cut off my arm and call it Mitch, but then reattach it and call me Mitch-alltogeth

So I'm sick right now and it's during such a time that I can take better notice of efforts people have made to brighten my days. There have been many things that people have done that don't make for great blog stories but I will mention a few that stick out. My boss was very helpful yesterday when I asked for the afternoon off despite the fact that I'm sure
