I'm done! Finally, the report from hell is almost out of my hands...it's really sad how much this stupid project has taken over my life. I can hardly wait for the big release date, because at least then I will never have to look at it again. This is the second night in less than a week that I've worked until 3am on this damn thing--and the other one was Friday n

I know, I just wanted to say "I don't care" again... I'm glad that we agree that JT should be quoted often...besides being hot, he's a musical brain! Ok, I'm off to get lots of coffee--I have to edit "the 100 page report from hell" tonight so that it can be sent to the printer tomorrow...It's going to be a LONG LONG night!

The forces of the world are working against me today. Everything I do seems to take a herculian effort. (Yea, I'm sure I spelled that wrong, and I don't really care). And even with that enormous effort, it still comes up all f'ed up. I tried to comment on Muggaz's "something about cocaine and singing" blog (yea, I know that's not really the title, but

oh where to begin: 1. I wish I had your weekend, I spent the whole of mine in bed--and while that in itself wouldn't necessarily be a problem, the fact that I was miserably sick, was. 2. Why do people sing about cocaine? Really, I want to know. 3. I've never seen Bad Boys II (or I for that matter), and now I don't plan to--although, I did enjoy Dogma 4. Honestly, I don't think many of us would

It's actually called the "Universal National Service Act." There is a slight, but very important, difference between National Service and Military Service--the bill allows for either military service, or civilian service. The reason that it isn't getting media attention is it's not moving. The bill has been stuck in committee since January 2003 and is likely to stay there, indefinitely. There isn't a whole lot of support for the bill--the Senate version doesn't ev

I think it is very unfair at times to ridicule peoples spoken english in it's written form. So what if Rumsfeld's English is not the best? Paul. It wasn't his spoken english...It was his written testimony as presented to the United States Congress. I think I have every right to criticize the Secr

Dharma: I'm happy to hear that you are feeling better about the situation. I have to tell you, when I first saw the title, I was hoping that the "Acceptance" was that your medical clearance had been accepted in England--but hopefully that will happen soon enough!

Jill: Interesting article. I can't help answer the questions, however; personally I would prefer these people be brought to justice in a way that we can learn from them in the future. While removing them from the population is good in the here and now, that, in my mind, falls into the category of revenge not justice. I would rather see a way in which our military, policy officials, intelligence agents can learn from past terrorist so as to prevent future ones (I'm not set on the method: tria

dharma- I'm sorry that this kink has been put into your plans, but hopefully Headquarters will make the right decision. I know how much you wanted to go to England, and especially how much you want to have Dave home. I'll keep my fingers crossed for you...There's no way that can extend Dave in Greenland, it would just be inhumane! I'm pulling for ya!

If her wife was a firefighter, and she had a baby in a relationship that is in murky legal water, wouldn't it make sense to have gotten some sort of will giving Carrie custody of the baby in case of an accidental death? Ya know--I was think the same thing! But I don't watch it every week so I just assumed that I had missed the episo

Sorry, no offense was intended with the 'watched pot' comment...and I must admit in my much younger days, I may have had some "sitting by the phone willing it to ring" experiences. Anyway, I'm only mid-twenties--but there are times when I find the club scene depressing--those are the times that I'm actually "on the prowl" (for lack of a better phrase). When I go out to have a good time with friends and don't really care if I meet anyone--that is when they all come crawling out of t

dharma--I actually replied last night, but it apparently didn't post...hmm...(I'm sure I could come up with a conspiracy theory on that--but I'll spare you). My comment was something to the effect of: Thanks, that clears up a lot of questions.

IG: The thing is she's not denying that she did those things--simply saying that it wasn't her fault because she was ordered. It's hard to have sympathy for her when shes says she doesn't think they did anything wrong. I'm disturbed that she doesn't realize that what she did constitutes abuse. As for the conspiracy idea: I haven't and don't plan on seeing the tape, so I really can't comment on whether or not it is authentic. However, I have hard time buying the idea that governme

I find it interesting that with your choice of words (murder and killing) you would make an exception for rape--is it not still murder and killing? I'm also interested as to why you picked "Religion" as the category, as you don't mention that your views on abortion are based on religious conviction. I'm simply being curious! If you are truly interested in my views on abortion, feel free to check out my blog entitled "Women Deserve Better than Abortion." I'd re-hash, but it m

Senator James Inhofe (R-OK) called it the greatest hoax ever perpetrated on the American people. But for all the disbelievers out there, there are believers--well educated scientists who are telling us it that is time to worry. And while the scientists and the believers
