Interesting, I don't think the AI gives you any more credit past 99 months. Meaning anything over 99 months is ignored. I have played with this when buying things and it is true when purchasing items. :)

I will sometimes reload at colonization to get a better colonization event. But have to pay the price as the AI normally imediately sticks me with tribute. That is the cheesiest thing I do. Here is an idea, everyone post what the cheesiest thing they do is. Might give us some great ideas or get the person Renigaded. ;)
The data that the auditors found made it appear that Renegade had edited one game multiple times so that he could submit it as separate games, and they would not have done it on a whim.
Could what he admitted doing produce the results the auditors saw is the million dollar question. :)
I am been honest and telling you what I am doing, Stardock didn't have a clue that this what I was doing, they were accusing me of hacking and changing the ID of the same game to submit the SAME GAME multiple times, sorry but that accusation doesnot have anything to do with the use of the mods.
I would like to see Renegade reinstated and said games removed and a clear statement that such editing is unaccepable. He has confessed the error of his ways. He has cont

This is to prevent it from being anomalous score? That is very different then what Renegade has been accused of. Cheesie and maybe should be stopped, but I would not think It should result in expulsion. He did play the games.
political party, that gave me a lot of cash and other advantages, before I finished to ally with the last AI and 1 turn before the elections I changed in all the games (60K) my political party to an another party and then 1 turn later I allied with the last AI and obtained a 60K victory
Sorry for my lack of understanding Renegade but how can you change politcal party in the middle of a game, I thought you could only do this before the game started. :notsure:
have done a little experimenting. I can play a huge, masso, rare game in under an hour and get 60k WITHOUT the use of Mods. Standard AP1.5 game. I do occasionaly lose a star system to end the game, but hey, whats a few billion citizens
I do this regularly, just figured out how to use mods last week so I am not using any except the "old diplomats party" for the past week. Not counting the time to get the right system I want. I can do it 40 minutes, that is if no AI's dec
I find that the AI are only willing to give up the ship techs when they offer you a ship tech for some trifle tech, such as drones or other building block in what they has set as a high priority
I found drones and brain wave mapping the best for getting the AI to overpay when they come to you. Anyone notice others that work regularly like those 2. :D When I do get a good capital ship tech traded to me I immediatly trade the tech to anyone who does not have it a
Stardock have said to e-mail them if you want to sort things out. Do so if you feel strongly enough. The only way to solve this is through dialogue with Stardock off-forum. E-mail Pat and ask him what the inconsistency is and see if there is a way to sort things out Renegade. Posting on this forum will not accomplish this.
I agree but know you have a large community who supports you. Remain calm and professional. If you run into a road block ask us for help. You know way more then me Weyr, but if its random then the odds of the same map coming up on two computers is the same as coming up on one. Next to zero I know loth played laptop alot and was probably moving the games to his desktop and then downloading. Problem there? The bottom line is Weyr you cannot fight their battles for them. They can contact Stardock and present there case. They can ask for your assistance but if they are not willing to do that you will live with we can

There our cheese moves that are openly discussed and widely used and there is cheating. Tampering with the binary code would be cheating. So don't call it cheese. They incourage and approve mods so that is not cheating but it is cheese. I would like them to clarify where the line between cheese and cheating is in there eyes.

A veteran player passed on a strategy to me which can deliver a 30 minute Maso Huge 60000 victory. You don't have time for cheese. Save games turned off. I Don't think any of the top players needs to cheat. I hope this allegation turns out to be an urban Myth. The problem with such a game it not fun. The fun of this game is the interaction with the AI and winning different ways. I have read people doing a game in 20 minutes. Big deal it would not be fun.

Military gives you the highest points, followed by alliance then cultural and finaly tech. Tech is the most boring and time consuming. Did it once won't again. The alliance sounds like the quickest way to victory. But I would weeken the successful race culturally 1st with party palaces until he down to few systems and then Alpha strike with terror stars for the final blow. He won't even get to fire a shot at you. ;)
And taking them off increses your tax revenue.
This I did not know. I thought it just effected elections and population growth. I read the whole morale thread and never pick up on this fact. What is the relationship between morale and tax revenue. Less people paying tax can actually increases revenue? :notsure:

Just read the whole thread on morale and along with the above I think I grasp the realationships. Worst case problem with a over population is a drop in morale, but over population will not by itself, drop it below 50%. You also will get to a zero population growth at some point do to the lowering morale effect. So the problem is self managing and does not require my micro management.I can build social structures, that improve morale and will increase the maximum population level on the planet be

From what I have read once a planets population hits a certain level its morale starts to go down. How do you no when this is happening because of over population? How do you know what the optimum population is for a planet? How do you manage your population once this occurs? This game has so many levels of strategy its mind blowing.
