Never played a team game but you would think if your the only your team left, you have already won. Game over. Alliance victory. Do you have the alliance victory condition turned off?

About the medals, I see them with this URL: Link, but not with th
Moose Pate Will have to make that the special at the Molotov. My last game moved me to 37th spot. 180k Challenging military.
In Gal Civ 1 you were completely blind like is being requested. On the highest level though the AI knew where everything was but you did not. You would have to play 20 minutes to discover you had no chance to win and the AI had gone straight to the best planets. This way is fair to both sides and you don't waist time starting on an impossible map. Win at the highest level before you start to worry about having to much of advantage.
Good news Magnum. Got my fingers crossed Chipper. It better submit.
I love the idea. A rally all ships and a rally all planets would be nice too. It's a bit of a pain when you have 15 planets and have to go through each one individually to set
I suffered the same problem. I was leaving the planets I conquered as is. Some had like 9 factories on them. Had to learn to prune and rebuild the planet to balance them.
Another possible strategy for this type of victory would be to keep the others at war with each other. Bribe and supply to keep the wars going, like a cold war super power. Keep friendly or close relations with everyone. Maintain a decent military number to keep everyone honest. As the AI's begin to surrender they will most likely surrender to you. Their friendly benefactor that has supported them from the beginning. Thus spreading your p
Would it not be great if you could click and hold on a rally point and drag it moving it where ever you want! All the ships on or going to that rally point would follow. Be even quicker and easier then goveners. As the battle moves you just drag the rally point forward. No resetting the colony and then the ship rally points again and again.
I cannot see anyones medals niether, but I'm glad you can see mine FC. Do you have to salute me yet?
Okay I found the default button. let's see Actually don't see anyone medals now.
Welcome aboard E-stab.
You do get alot of control on what your map will look like just not your starting position in it. I have not a had a to easy game yet. When I do I'll just increase the difficulty level. With the influence togle on the mini map turned on you get a pretty good idea how things are going to shape up without waisting time on maps you don't want. This is a big improvement from the Gal Civ 1 when it took 20 minutes to find out you had no chance. <
Magnum, Darkhosis got a 800K game. Maybe he had access to super computer and finished your Gigantic abundant everything game.
My game reload worked fine last night. No issue. Guess it just needed as much sleep as me.
Roy, what do you guys serve in this place? Why are your gas grills so big? What you been cooking, Roy? Those don't look like any sheep i've ever seen.
I had my 1st CTD last night. It happened after I reloaded a previous save, trying rewrite a little history. All of a sudden the computer realized all the AI's ships I bought prevously on the other side of the galaxy where out of range. I started getting multiple pop ups about everyone going for a long sleep and then the whole thing crashed. The ships were headed back some time before the reload and i never got the pop up about the range problem when I bought them and pointed them ho
If I post in a thread or am particularly interested in a thread I hit the watch button or I never find it again.
Noticed the same thing with the sb on the ralley point. Next time I'll build next to the rally point.
Well put Ethren Stardock puts its customers 1st beyond anything I have ever been apart of. By listening and interacting with us they allow us to be apart of thier team and an integral part of their success. They treat us with the respect to honor our licencing agreement without putting unnecessary walls in front of us. I wish them all the success in the world and return the respect they h
True, if you don't put it on your watch list you never find the thread again.
Yeah only 46 more posts to the next page.
Well if the AI knows where everything is I don't know how I could be beating them to systems when I have to check everything out 1st. If Frogboy says it is not happening that's good enough for me. That's like questioning Jesus on the accuracy of the bible. In Gal Civ 1 the AI did know where the systems were on Maso, that's why it was Maso. They were given the Stellar configurary (sp?)tech off the bat. I know I would not be getting the starts I'm getting now, if the AI had that kind of advantag
Hey Gandalf. As simple as clicking the spinning globe on the top of this thread and clicking the box below the logo at that link. Welcome aboard!!! May the Yor learn to regret this day.
By the time you finish a game so much time has passed that you expect ED to remember the starting conditions Ouch! True... But Ouch! <img src="smiles/Gasp.gif" border=0 ALIGN="absm
