LOL Oh yah like our empire needs the points that badly. Weyr was trapped in 2nd with tech millions of points ahead of him. He played the other player to have fun again. He even deliberatly gave weyr the odd game to force a recalc to give me 2nd place sooner. We all complained about no recalc on retired players even our own. Newfy, my fellow Guardian, plays a game where as soon as he meets an allien he declares war on them no matter what, and goes for pure military victory. To me that's the most impressive victory. He plays non-masso level's for fun, not score. :D

So you mean when you go to speak to alien screen whom your at war with, Peace treaty in not an option in the Treaties area on the left hand side of the screen midway down. :notsure: Strange. Don't know. It's sometimes hard to get them to accept, but it is always there as far as I know. Are there any treaty offer options shown. :notsure:

I think with proper aging of scores it would incourage new players to climb the ranks. Seems to be no rhymm nor reason as to whose scores age and who's do not. I use to think it was when your 1st game was over a year old but Greldon's score blew that theory.

No you don't but you get what's in their build ques. So if the the guys got a dreadnaught in the build que 2 months from completion, you get it if you complete it, even if you don't have dreadnaught tech yet. You can even end up with 2 manufactoring capitals I believe.

If I recall I had difficulty adjusting to how crowded the map was at first and I play with minors on and rare so there is not much room for a super empire. I play Nuetral to pure evil. 2 neutral 2 chaotic evil 3 pure evil. I chose this because if I slip into evil myself, ther are no good guys to kill me just because I'm evil. Diplomacy works as well on pure evil as anyone else so I see no down side to evil but the good guys will fight you on principle, but the bad guy

It gives you higher scores because the extra races make the game more difficult. Only takes a few games to adjust to problems presented by the extra races though. :D

How fast you play does not effect score. Difficulty level, number of opposition, and victory condition do. I increase my score by achieving wonders and trade goods. To lesser degree techs you research yourself help your score but ones you trade for don't, I have read. You know if you click on a persons nick name it gaves you the game info as far as, morality, galaxy size, difficulty and winning/losing condition

I'm still using the same strategy that use to take me over an hour to play. I just do everything quicker now. Every game is different, I take everythng that happens. If a random event puts me in war, I fight it out. I don't have savegames on and I always play through whatever happens or how bleak it looks. If a game goes perfectly, which it rarely does, then I'm excited about the time. Basicly the only thing I do better now is click turn faster as I know whats happening at all times. I read one

You can bribe every 3 turns. Did you have the diplomatic translator :notsure: If you did not get it youself be sure to trade for it as soon as you can.

The most it will move up is two levels at a time. Neutral to friendly or warm to close. If you bribe the alien and he says "ah, more presents please" no matter what you give him he is not going to move. You can bribe every 3 turns so wait 3 turns and try again.

I wonder if your going to loose a planet to culture flip, and you destroyed colony, then immediately restarted with 1 million pop if you would have a better chance of keeping it. :notsure:

At masso the AI all know where all the planets are, your the only one who does not. So its more like evening the playing field. It would be very rare to get a decent map and actually beat the AI to a good planet other wise, as they send there colony ships directly to them while you hunt around blind. I would not want to waist hours trying

If anyone is already at close go for them 1st as you can also trade for all their techs easily seems how you don't have to bribe them much to alliance. Then I go weekest to highest picking up all the techs as I go along to bribe then next. :)

Why would so many people find satifaction in cheating. :notsure: Makes no sense to me. There is no mass conspiracy here. Every game you play is different or it would be to boring to play. We all took a long time to get to this level. We just click turn faster then you. Everything we do, we do with honor.
