Is it fun to win a gold medal or being the best at something. If you play the meta then being number 1 counts. For each there own. Every game is different as the Aliens, the map and the random events don't co-operate exactly the same every game. And sure its fun when its your own formula that you have perfected over hours of game time.

Stardock has reviewed all the games of the top players in the past including Tech's. The game submitts contain all the data to weed out any cheating. He has played close to a 1000 games, he just might have learned a thing or to in that time.

The metaverse is a trap, don't fall in. On the other hand its not as easy flipping burgers to perfect a fast game strategy at Maso. Sometimes you got no choice but to fight a few wars and the dream of a 35 minute game is gone. I leave save games off and play what ever comes my way. It also takes hours of practice to bring game time down to that level even if I gave you my strategy. When the top scores only came with military the top players only played that way and still won q

Wait tell your playing evil and you meet the Fundementalists. If your playing evil destroy at 1st sight. They give your people religion and they reject your evil ways. They culture flip everyone near them and spread like cancer. Overal though minors are good trading partners and those Evil robots known as Yor are yor enemy. :D

Death star alpha Strike. My strategy is to create a way point. Send all my constructors to that point. I thinks its 8 but Peace may be right at 7. Package them in fleets of 8 and send them to enemy star systems. When all in place. The enemy never seems to mind when your at peace with them. Save game because sometimes it crashes at this point. Build your star bases right up against the planets. Make sure you got lots of money. Is it 5000bc per Death Star now? It c

Its very hard not to take what the aliens do to you personally. They use to make me so angry I'd terror star the same race for the next 5 games for a slight they did me in a previous game. You really do learn to hate certain Races. The Yor are always on the top of my hate list but the Korx and Dregin get not so honorable mention as well. >:(

I had two majors surrender to me in a game tonight and I had a zero military rating but high diplomacy with everyone. Rare that two races would surrender to me. I would say 1 out of every 10 games someone surrenders to me at most. They never seem to happy about it though. Usually the moral rating is 1 right after surrender. So I quickly buy colony ship on the planet and send half the population into space and the remaining group is quite happy about it. Must be sending their mother inlaws into d

I think it is like every thing else in the game, its a roll of the dice and all you can do is increase the chances of the out come in your favour but there is still a chance that the less likely thing will happen. :)

Military is not the only factor your relations level also seems important. Keep the relations good by giving aliens the odd useless tech every once and a while. With good relations and high military you should have the highest likely hood for surrender. You also won't have to fight any wars until your ready.

Survival. When there cause is hopeless they surrender to someone else. They never surrender to you if you’re at war with them, they usually surrender to highest military rated race they are not at war with I believe. This is why the Alpha strike technique developed. Take out your enemy on one turn not allowing it to surrender to someone else or even fire a shot. ;)

They do have empire sections for members of that particular empire only, but most the boards are open to everyone. Just registar for access. I thought we had already sent you an invite Desert Fox. Come in and check it out. Might get ideas for your site as well. Everyone here's invited by our host IBH's :)

You ever notice the AI's colonizing to extend their range? I am sure the Yor did it to me my last game and I had never noticed that before. I won the race to the price planet and they destroyed their colony. I get my usual 4 planets and park colony ships at any close by 14's or sometimes 13 until my economy is in the black running at 100% spending then take them. I take them when I am just about to start major social spending so they become an asset quickly. I also look for such plane
well I do have all those new picture frames from Sears with pictures of those nice families in them ... maybe I should just hang those up.
Newfy as your mother was a bitch (Female Newfoundlander dog) and your father a desperate Nova Scotian fisherman; I would definitely go with the Sears pictures. I cannot imagine your family getting together for thanksgiving. Your mothers side all scarfing down the turkey before grace ignoring the yams. Grandma choking on a turkey bone.
