Not so fussed about the logo - I don't expect it will adversely affect the professional market and it seems to fit in with their approach for marketing 'Bamboo'™ WWW Link . I am pleased with the latest drivers for the intuous3(A4). Previous drivers have been clunky for me at startup. Sometimes presenting a brief minimized window at top left of screen during bootup/login. being UK based, the driver i

All good here. Installed properly, reboot/start-up without problems. Very nice.
I think one of the most useful things a person in desperate need can do, is learn very quickly to listen to their 'can do' voice. If one of those 'can do' things includes making contact with a community in which the individual feels relatively safe, and in a way that helps them see those words reflected and possibly made more tangible & manageable, it would seem a shame if that voice was diminished by our inability to listen - so while I understand the concerns, I think it's good that
Honestly, I don't think it's anything that's really new. Source your programs (read widgets in this case) from trustworthy sources. Same advice as for any program, browser extension etc....
Tks for the heads up guys.
Believe it or not, she actually used to receive abusive phone calls from people accusing her of faking the illness. She was indeed a woman of great spirit & fortitude.
Good recovery Kayin Did you click on Bebi's link in reply #1 ? Do you need further support ?
That's a grand picture Avman . Now, about the naming competition............?
I am the proud parent of a beautiful little girl now a father of 3!! Great news Avman
Congratulations on the upcoming birth of your Daughter Avman.
Don't give up, someone may yet manage to raise him.
Mine was just a tongue in cheek really. The RIP is fine in itself, just need to be aware that there already is a Halloween skin/suite called R.I.P created by Mike Bryant. It's one of the premium skins in the subscriber resources.
For some reason when I saw I.R,'s headstone, I was overcome by the phrase:- 'Next of Skin' I know, but I just had to get it out there.
I don't have any axe to grind with any individual - but which out of those initial posts apart from #5 where I.R.Brainiac tries to bring the thread back to something that's workable and then #9 where Boxxi invites the OP to explain are actually posts that you could fairly describe as being supportive or useful to the OP. Supportive meaning asking for clarification, explaining why ya think something won't fly - maybe offering some lateral options like Gideon does in #13 Sure th
Judging by his verbal skills, I would say he wasn't thinking much at all. At any level. Beyond that of a 12 year old, that is. That makes it seem all the more strange to me. I mean, if you think the OP is unarmed when it comes to wits and/or maturity - don't you think it's odd that anybody would want to line up and take a shot ? Let alone join a posse of people doing it.
I always thought Qnx looked like a fun OS ....particularly the demo way back when that ran from a floppy.... It does kinda make 'Damn Small Linux' seem bloated.......
I'd still have liked the OP to have had a chance to draw out a bit more - the Toy,D project seems to have stalled in March at what they're describing at the pre-alpha stage - unless some thing is happening in the background. It seems almost like taking a liveCD with a Windows finish; like Linspire, but instead of it being on an abstract layer, they seem to be trying to enable a portable graft that can be placed onto the OS of choice. If it could be made to work in a stable fas
It only takes a minute to Google the elements the OP referred to (Yod,m & Toy,d). It's a shame the OP didn't realise those elements are probably not native to many users of this site. It's way too easy to be focussed on an area of development and forget that other people have their own focus. FWIW, Toy,d looks like it might be fun to explore: WWW Link
Alternate Setting, this isn't so much about being stronger as it is about caring and understanding. I kinda figured that's where the strength comes from. Still it's a non-judgemental candle so take from it what works for you.
If this is all it takes to make someone feel stronger, then they are welcome to both this candle and my best wishes.
That's it basically, coming from a traditional mining area, I just wanted to note my respect for the miners. As I'm looking at the news from the United States at the moment, 3 rescue workers have died and six more injured. They were part of an ongoing rescue effort to locate and rescue/recover six trapped miners. There is no doubt that these guys and their families are aware that this is an extremely perilous operation - and that there lives are at risk.
Waves @ Po - sorry to be trailing here - so I'll just wish you good health & many happy returns.
Exactly thr right note - spooky but fun ...... It's all good and I love the wallpaper kittymalone.
Just to add another tool to the set of the would-be author. Another site for the budding writer who just wants to see their work on a wider stage, and that recently came to my notice is ' theneverendingstory.co.uk ':- Describing itself as a "unique website where YOU write the next page or verse of stories and poems started by famous people and site members from around the world." It was featured in an article when the author of Chocola
