hehe.... nice one I was thinking more - 'Winky, man of mystery'. Only - not so much........ So I opted for another oddball version: "Where's Winky?"

Hi bdafox, Edit: I realised after typing this you were referring to the branded Microsoft Virtual PC and not a generic heading. Still I think the basics of creating the virtual disc are similar in many machines so I'll edit and then let this stand. I've changed the links at the bottom to ones targeted at Microsoft VirtualPC 2007 You are generally required with VM's to use a wizard which amongst other things will ask you to identify the sort of OS you w

It was a good day A win for our Rugby lads against France in a hard won game in Paris. A win for our footballers against Estonia played @ Wembley. Both were good wins, but I've removed the results on the off chance someone has still to see the games....

Alternative Setting: Windows Live Spaces won't work? That's what I've been trying to use. I can't say for certain - but looking at the URL you used on the previous page, I think it may be incomplete. I just took a look at the Windows Live site and tested an image. <br

Hi Katrinakat - I'll provide a very simple introduction and if you need further help, others will add additional points. Assuming you have the image of choice in a format you're happy with. You then need to select an image hosting service to upload the image to. Classic examples available free include ImageShack & Photobucket:- Click me for ImageShack Click me for Photobucket U

To risk speaking out of turn - all it is really, is that it was thought it might be nice to take advantage of the 'Trick or Treat' aspect of Halloween and see if some more of this element could be built into the Theme. Harley put his thinking cap on and created a way in which aspects of the blind could form part of a simple puzzle in which elements could be hunted for and presented in such a way as to complete a simple puzzle. It really is just an added dimension for those that want to

I tell you truly, after clicking on Po's link, it's only the fact that nothing actually winked at me that has left me with any vision at all.... As for the pen - that's just what's needed - Po and fine detail. Cor, it don't 'arf boggle the mind.

The boys did well, but the value of the result - lies in the value of the opposition. Both the Aussies and All Blacks field great sides - it's what makes the games and the cup worthwhile. Great entertainment

Assuming malicious code doesn't already exist on your network, then yes - the code/script must be delivered from an external source and this requires a connection between your machine and that of the machine serving the code/script. Operate on a default deny basis, inviting only trusted sources to see and contact you.

I.R. - always a pleasure to see you on the boards Sorry guys, no Treetog special - just loving the idea of sending out a satellite with a map of our solar system and the message - "feeling snacky, here we are" ...... In it's own way, as Jafo noted, this too is a classic theme..... A race of aliens known as the Kanamits land on Earth and promise to be nothing but helpful to the cau

On this the 25th anniversary of Sputnik, at a time in which anywhere between 3 to 7.5 million Americans, claim not only to believe in Aliens, but to have actually been abducted and returned by them, I just wanted to give a big shout out for Voyager. Click me for Voyager page One of the fun things about this mission is the 'Golden Record' which contains sounds/images/music & greetings from Earth in 55 different l

I think the pumpkin has the home advantage of already being weighted correctly for the blind... I think as long as it's scaled correctly, it shouldn't be overly clunky. I see that you've already updated and brought the My Movies image into line as well, possibly a splash of the orange or blue just for the sake of being consistant. The search image is also fine I think. The only image that now strikes me as slightly out of key is the My Pictures one, partly because I'm not sure what it

You would have to be visible to non-trusted sources in order to accept this code. It shouldn't happen simply by dint of launching the application, not if you've bothered to take basic precautions. It is partly a result of bad design and partly a result of bad practice. There may be magic bytes, but there is no magic code - it can't take advantage of a vector it doesn't have access to. All of the vulnerable AIM clients include support for enhanced message type

Hmm, must be tough love Wednesday. Wouldn't dare step into using the IM at work argument and I never have a pop at Elfs & Faeries. If you are asking more generally, then bearing in mind the danger is not the open port, but the vulnerable service, then I'd add:- Keep updated and minimize inbuilt vulnerabilities. Look around the program options, get to understand them and make use of any invite/block system. If you are running in admin mode, consider ta
