Hehe - and had that steak been chocolate, then in not one of those Universes, would that dog, have stood a snowballs chance in Hades in a race against Fuzzy.

Way to go Nimbin - got yourself a positive attitude, that's worth it's weight in gold.
If looks could kill, then the next time I break a mirror & get 7yrs bad luck, I'm appealing the sentence, On the grounds of self defence. (I gave myself such a dirty look this morning ...... I thought I'd got away with it ...... ........ I had no idea I was watching)
Thanks RomanDa It now works as expected - without the added function the object runs both date & time (counting down the seconds). The date is in my local format - day > month > year. When I add the function as presented and the adjusted code - the object works as expected. However the format becomes Americanised for me. It becomes month > day > year.
Hi RomanDA, Appreciate a little extra help as 'Step 4' isn't working as expected. Should the script box contain anything other than the cut & paste code ? If so, would it be possible to present either a screeny or text print of the final code as it should appear? I've tried a few variations but haven't hit on the right one yet. The date object works, I've also ran it as a time object just to double check that nothing is stopping the time being called up. Steps 1 to 3
It will be called 'Knot Vista' Heres a link to the screeny.(got taskbar now) <a href="https://www.wincustomize.com/zoom.aspx?skinid=19886&l
@ I.R.Brainiac - any working title yet for the Masterskin - ? @ Tycus - 'Oxide' looks great, what scale/size do you prefer to create your cursors at ? Tks guys
So who am I voting for? Am I forced to vote? If I don't vote, is that the same as being an anarchist? Meh, I've doing it for years and no matter who I vote for, the Government always seems to get back in....
There was never any expectation/duty for anybody to create a skin, free or otherwise, so that first argument doesn't hold much water with me... Both the community and the actual technology is dynamic - there will likely always be enthusiasts who create skins for a variety of reasons. As long as information & support continues to trickle down from those with experience, I see no reason why those that have put in the time, and learnt their craft, shouldn't benefit from it. It's
Tks for taking the time
Always nice to be part of a positive thread, congrats Kitty Kitty's latest skin is now available to download: I am a link to Star of Exodus
I didn't watch, Ok, I watched - but I didn't stare, ok, I stared a little - but I didn't take photos, ok, I may have took a few quick snaps - but I didn't sell them, ok, I may have sold a couple to a web site - but they promised not to publish them, ok, not promised - but it's your own fault - it wouldn't have happened if you'd been watching. phew......
Best wishes for you & yours Nimbin
Lets let this thread get back to being a "discussion" please... and back to it's original topic. Got a beef? ...Please take it to PM. Thanks all. Lucky you <img id="ImageResize_Image_38" onload="ImageR
Tks for taking the time - always nice to play. I've been wondering how best to create a block quote
If there is no example image, it may be that Photobucket is down for maintenance.
It's probably more accurate to think of this as less of a tutorial & more of an introduction t
Not so much pointless as more organised - I had 5 drinks of water then went to the toilet 4 times - just shows the value of learning to use a daily planner
Yay - way to go Eric another cool move, seems to be the day for 'em
Well deserved all
Congratulations SK - particularly enjoyed the Cylon skin.
A real pleasure to be able to offer my congratulations I.R.Brainiac Great result, well deserved
I'd stuck an American station on to catch the weather situation on the East coast when this tragedy began to be televised. I wish all those that need it, the strength to get through the pain of the next few days. I know from experience that eventually, survivors & relatives of those who died, will respond with a dignity that will help your whole Country begin to heal. Andy
So re. my #8, can that not be made to work at all with Dreamscenes ? The calling up of the one video file, which is then sent to each monitor, only from a different point in that file.
There's a flash based LCARS screensaver that works quite neatly with dual monitors. Being flash, to save on resources, it is able to be divided into what might be thought of as several episodes or modules. If I remember correctly, it simply directs the same screensaver only at a slightly different point of the run, to the second monitor. This offers two complementary but differing screens routed from the same design. I haven't looked at how Dreamscenes are created and
