Thanks guys. The typos are an ongoing pain caused heavily due to the way our editors worked in III (where it was super easy to overwrite text changes). Hopefully IV does not suffer from this.
Frogboy
I can't really think of anything we could have done in the update that would affect this one way or the other.
Thanks guys! We appreciate it!
also Engineer and Constructor logistics cost reduced from 3 to 2.
The problem here is what is opinion and what is fact and who is going to decide between them?
That was my point. On Twitter, apparently the moderators are going to decide what is opinion and what is fact. Just like HERE, our moderators are the ones who do that. And if you don't agree with the moderators, then suddenly it's a lot less fun isn't it? Just like Twitter has become a lot less fun for m
BTW, the point I'm making here is that it's not enjoyable to participate on a forum (such as this one in this example) if moderation appears to be selective and biased. I thought Twitter was a messaging service (a social media network). But it is just another forum whose rules and enforcement are capriciously enforced based on the personal opinions of the moderators. Hopefully I've made my point.
Twitter's policy is up to Twitter. Are you only interested in opinions that match your own?
You clearly know nothing about me.
Seems like you are taking things personally Frogboy. I expressed no hate of "the other side". The motivation of the messenger (with respect to Twitter here) explains much of the content of the message. I also wish to add that states considering allowing expanded mail-in voting were doing so as a contingency in the event November brought a large pandemic outbreak. <div class="quote
Also, I don't really want to spend my time on this forum reading and participating in political debates. If I want to listen to people who know little about a given topic but insist on espousing their hyper-partisan views I'll read Facebook. If someone wants to post half-baked political opinions go to JoeUser.com and it has a political area. There you can express how much you hate "the other side" all you want.
Not to go on a political rant here, but why is one candidate scared of mail in ballots and the other candidate is not. Maybe it's how the country has been handled in the last 6 months.
You could just as easily argue as to why one side is consistently against actions that would reduce the possibility of voter fraud. Especially when that side tends to be in control of cities where it would be easier to exp
Quoting Frogboy, reply 17 You are confusing facts with opinions you agree with. For instance, mail in voting fraud does happen. That is a fact. This is a ridiculous and petty justification. The incidence of voter fraud is quite lo
No. Not on genius. I've not seen that before. I'll look into it.
This seems doable. I'll ask Cari.
Not yet. Just finished writing it.
I think the new gameplay styles can be made into an option (scorched earth and FOW in territory).
Thank you for clarification. Hopefully GC4 will have less cartoonist graphics and battles will be a lot more satisfying [e digicons]:)[/e]
The art style is a side effect of the customization (I assume you are talking about the ships?)
A lot of what was going to be in 4.0 went into 3.9. Right now, we're trying to decide when to start working on GC4 versus continuing to do major updates to GC3.
The user interface could be better still. I'm not saying it is worst than two, which it is not. I'm not saying some of it isn't awesome which it is. I'm talking about double clicking. I used to be able to double click on mercenaries to select them. I can't anymore. I pick the tech tree when I select a tech. I still can't double click on a tech when I know what tech I want to take it to the main screen. I can't double click on a impr
Yes, you are correct. If you are using a faction that is deeply unpopular (via triats), you have to put a lot of effort before folks will come to visit you -- sure, we're super rude and smelly, but at least we have cool things to see! Greetings! It's been awhile. But we haven't forgotten about our favorite RTS. I want to give you guys a preview of what's coming up. ## New game in Singularity Universe ## So we are about to announce a game called Siege of Centauri. It's a game set in the Singularity universe and is based on Ashes of the Singularity. I
Greetings! Lots to go over this month so I will do my best to keep it short. ## NEW Ashes Game ## We are about to announce a new game in the Ashes of the Singularity universe. It's in the tower defense genre. This originally was going to be released as a DLC for Ashes but the gameplay changes required made it impossible to keep it
Greetings! Lots of exciting things happening with Ashes of the Singularity. With Star Control: Origins released, we've been able to give Ashes some new attention and I wanted to use this post to update you on where we are. Engine porting Under the game is the game engine which in Ashes 1.0 was pure Nitrous. These days, we have taken the Nitrous engine and integrated all the cool stuff we've develope
I use tidal and still take horrific legion losses which is fine invading is tough work but what I don’t care for is my empire with ridiculous amounts of cash and the majority of other resources isn’t able to produce enough legions. Which is why I’d love a black market or overpriced mission things that you simply would not use unless it is obvious you are going to win. Like maybe a market that is 7 or 8 times the cost
The Damon thing is what finally got me to sell off my Google stock. Not out of a sign of protest but because I fundamentally don't have confidence that a company that is so insular in their politics is capable of doing real innovation. If a Stardock employee did what Tab Atkins did, they'd get fired because we don't want a company culture that has such naked malice towards other people. If I were as bad as he thought, I would have already obliterated him with the lawyers
