I feel ya. I still play Total Annihilation and Master of Magic on occasion. The purpose of my rant isn't that these games aren't great. But rather, the people who publicly suggest that other people should go out and get those other games as if they are viable alternatives for people who aren't familiar with those games already.
There is a Big bug and its still in this version When you have a meta Unit (T1-T2) and you loose the main T2 unit of that Meta Unit, than That Meta Unit get get Broken. You will need to get all you units again and create a new Meta Unit. Are you guys seeing the same bug?
Yes. It's on our list. We're only looking at the resolution issue right now. This isn't
The number of starting strategies is considerable in this game. Rushing to get that extra node with your engineer can help. On the other hand, using that engineer to rush build a second engineer opens up a lot of opportunities as well depending on the map.
Quoting Frogboy, reply 12 There are some pretty persuasive arguments in this thread. While it is always tempting to stick to ones guns for the sake of being resolute, I must admit that it might work better to let people who have progressed reasonably through the rank
We have a preview of the next Ashes build. Not the Thursday build but beyond that. Go to Ashes in Steam. Go to the properties of Branches, go to beta and type this PW in: AshesSingularity2016 It's the musician branch. It won't stay the latest for long so you'll want to switch to the main branch soon but we'd love to get an idea of stability with regards to graphics/windowed mode/ full screen mode.
I should have remembered them. That's a good point.
Now that I know it won't be released till "spring", I am giving a sigh of relief.
We don't have to release it until we're ready to release it (within reason). I still think it'll get launched later this Month but it depends on how things are going. But I don't agree that it has "bad UI". But UI is a very subjective discus
I think you have said the 3rd faction will be based off a different tech line, i.e. not human. However after reading this I could see another 4th faction being the humans who don't want to become Post Human. It would have human and transhuman units. They know that some of the Post Humans wanted to convert Earth and them into Turinium or its like and though the threat was stopped by the AI they know it could still happen some time down the
Love the Story, i hope you can create a nice campaign in the game that explain all that.
We are trying. The campaign is something way way more impressive than I thougth they could pull off. Frankly, it makes the typical Stardock campaign an embarassment.
(3) UI in general is sorely lacking - though I assume that really is a WIP.
What UI changes would you like to see?
Hi guys. This week we're doing a pretty decent sized balance patch. A few notes on this post: Brutes basically melt to Zeus's. The Avenger hose is being buffed to do more damage to Brutes I've played some of the people you mention who build mass bug builds (mass brutes) and wipe them out fairly easily with a combination of Zeus's and air power. What you need to look for is rapid metal expansion by them ear
We plan to add an option to let players have more precision in matchmaking (i.e. that it'll wait forever if necessary). However, bear in mind, that in ranked, it will not place a rank 3 player against say a rank 7 player no matter what.
We have seen some reports of this on Windows 7. We are investigating.
Greetings! I'm writing a series of articles for The Escapist. GPU load at 99% is a good thing. Are you overclocking?
This is good data. How much video memory do you have on that machine?
As we implement more features into the AI (in terms of what it can do) the number of things it can do at a given moment increases exponentially. On in other words: The AI is getting smarter but it's skill at this particular game has decreased. That will be the next phase.
Can you post a screenshot? I'd like to see what you're seeing.
I'm writing from an iPhone so my responses are brief. but I will not support automating engineers. The current level of micro vs. macro is what we were going for.
That is below the minimum display requirements.

I so disagree here. At some point the game plays itself then.
Check your visual settings in options. They were reset for Beta 2. You may need to turn them up.
