The fastest way to improve balance and make changes is when we can directly play with your saved games. That's because you guys do things we'd never think to do. Please post your late game saves in this thread. Tell us what is happening along with what you think should be happening. Thanks!
Oh, I understand taxes, just the way everything is being presented is what was confusing me. I get the numbers now. Even though my people are creating 393 worth of revenue (GDP, trade, treaties), I'm only collecting 33% of it, which is where the 130 is, and then minus the 14 and change brings me to the 115 monthly. Now that I understand how the numbers are calculated, I do understand th
Hello. I own the base game in EGS and I want to buy Steam's Supernova version with discount. Is there a process to do that or you are still working on it?
It's looking like we're going to be able to do that this week.

It's definitely not clear enough. To the point I'd call it a bug. We need another row: Monthly Income: where you take the Revenue, subtract the expenses. Which is where you get 4.
Just a few observations from my first few hours of Supernova. Sectors - Seems like needless micromanagement, are they really needed? I've already got more than enough to do in one sector, does it really add that much to the gameplay to have to do the same thing in multiple sectors? It's like trying to play two or three games at once Citizens - The idea of having pops on your planet is fine, but it f
For the planets, it feels like a classic "overdesign" problem to me. Lots of systems, and you get lots of complexity for not a lot of "fun" yield. The current setup: -------------------- Planets have inputs, buildings and starbases modify inputs by percentage yields, and you get outputs. That could be fine, but we want to support multiple levels of buildings for upgrades, and we want to support adjacency b
What's rubbing people the wrong way is that the 'expansion' isn't being sold as such as Steam, but as a brand new game that is cheaper to boot that early access supporters bought for, even though no one likes Epic, to support Stardock. It's really hard to believe that Stardock is going to do any meaningful updates on a version that doesn't even exist on the storefront where they will actually sell the game (Steam). It also shows that they
I love GG4 just like I've enjoyed all your other games. But I'm not paying $16 to get the updated version when I already have GC4. I'm not sure why this is so mind boggling to Stardock? In all my years gaming, I've never had this happen.
It's not mind boggling to us. If you don't think it's worth it then it's not worth it to you. The part the confuses us is the people who

One argument I’ve seen is that the base game of GC4 isn’t good; It has a 4.2 out of 5 on Epic. If you don’t like GC4 base you’re not going to like Supernova either. So save yourself some pain and don’t worry about Supernova.
I also wouldn't mind waiting, if it was like 10 minutes. But then again, maybe it gets to the point where enough people seed the generated images where it wouldn't matter.
10min per image. So 90 minutes for all 9. But at the way things are progressing, I wouldn't be surprised if we have real time animated generation before the end of the year. 6 weeks ago we didn't even think we'd have generated alien imag
An expansion which is essential though, otherwise you have a very unbalanced/unfun game, that was panned by players and reviewers alike. The game was not released in a state that a lot of us early backers agreed was a good one. So bad indeed that you aren't even releasing that game onto your new platform.
For the sake of argument, let's say we agree with you (which we won't, GC4 at launch is still better than G
