I really enjoy the concept of this game, but I do not see how anyone is supposed do well and keep track of multiple parts of the map at the same time, even more so on larger maps, with how limited you are on how far you can zoom out. This is a huge turn off for me, and I struggle to play because of this. Games that are played on large scale maps, with things going on everywhere, need to give players the ability to zoom all the way out, for example: Supreme Commande

Tat, you're so delusional on this topic that I can't be bothered to even respond to the "points" you bring up. SupCom 1 and SupCom:FA lost money. I know precisely how much they cost, down to the cent. I know how much they made, down to the cent. They weren't anywhere near as popular as you seem to believe they were. That is why they took a different direction with SupCom 2. Stardock almost was the publisher of Supreme Commander 2.
You can use the TAB key to highlight the next group of items and access their hot keys.
Let preface this by saying I like SUpCom and especially FAF. That said, some of you seriously need to knock it off. So here's some tough love: Supreme Commander never became very popular because it tried to be all things to all people. You could zoom in on a unit and see pretty amazing (even by today's standards) unit details, tracks in the land, amazing explosions but also zoom out and see the entire world in one swoop full of icons. And units? Dozens. And defense
Standard founders will be getting a key shortly. And it is my intent to make sure lots of "will work forever" keys go out too. Let me put it another way: How many games out there have died because they didn't get a decent multiplayer community? Making sure our best players have adquate keys to share with their friends seems liek a pretty small investment.
The Founders will get the map editor for free. But regular users will need to get the DLC.
All founders will be getting keys. LIfetime members will get 1 extra key now and an additional one as we near release.
Yes, the two faction cap is silly and easily one of the dumbest design choices. Brad even references that the unit count for the current faction is 15, the "same as Starcraft 2", yet that means little as Ashes only plans to have two factions, where SC2 obviously has 3 and each are very distinct. Another faction of hover tanks that employ shields as their gimmick leaves me feeling that these guys don't know w
What we seem to be getting from players is that as you zoom out, a colorization should be applied to the units. We don't really need "icons" per se, but some way to make sure your units pop more when you zoom out.
Re movement. We are working on that. Re annihilation. You can pick the victory points on the game setup.
Any fix by the game speed controls ?
You can hit + and - to adjust the game speed.
I have to try it to be sure but I don't like the sound of it. Game is going to be slower at the begining when there is little to do and faster in the late game when there is a lot to do.
It speeds up the early game quite a bit as your engineer moves much faster. The creeps don't all show up at once, they slowly grow in time. What it prevents is someone (like me) building two Hermes and taking over half t

Bottom lime: if you didn't like sins of a solar empire you will probably not like ashes. There are other games that might suit your tastes.
Clearly the OP was never in the SupCom beta.

Thanks for the feedback! Make sure you check your video options (options menu) as you can change the settings there to get what you want.
List in this thread what things you think MP needs before release. I'll try to update this post with your feedback (or at least, the ones I think are doable). I'll start: HOST migration. Scheduled for Beta 1. Host quits, game should continue. Surrender option where you concede the game go to stat screen. Nicer stat screen with line graphs and more data. Ability to mute chat easily
With early access out, Steam has graced us with new Steam keys so we can finally start to hand you guys out extra keys to give to friends. I am hoping to have them ready tomorrow. Stay tuned!
NDA enabled: Most people do not know this but Steam uses the Steam user reviews to determine whether a game is featured or not. I won't ask people to put in positive reviews but I do want to encourage users who like the game to know that they can do something, especially this week, that would really help the game. http://store.steampowered.com/app/228880 The NDA part is that
