Not nearly as adventurous as some, I've made an attempt to eat just about anything that is offered to me. I try and chow on the kimchee that comes in the bulgogi lunch boxes from House of Beans, when we would get them on food runs at work. If I didn't eat it, greywar would always be happy to devour the leftovers. Arabs use a lot of rosewater in their dessert cookies and pastries. I don't much care for it, but I'm always afraid to insult the

since Draginol/Frogboy/Brad's opinion is final arond here And this is an interesting point (was it a point you were trying to make? You didn't actually address it, just mention it in passing). The redeeming qualities in this example are: 1) He doesn't hide that he's the same person. 2) He doe

So it was you who made off with that sheet! I thought it was the kid who had a last name in common with SGT Onasidenote who had brought it in. *shrug* It matters not, it's still pretty chucklicious.

I was pretty sure that would be your opinion on this. I mean this sort of thing would lend itself to easy abuse of the "Insightful" system as well. Oddly, that was enough to get an Insightful from me. I mean, seriously, I already feel disenfranchised by only being able to hand out ~5 ratings, p

I had considered creating a second log-in to make a second blog dealing with entirely game-related topics (FWIW, not really computer or console games, mostly tabletop miniatures, CCGs and RPGs (with dice! not computers)). However, I wouldn't comment on my own articles with the secondary (alt) account, and actually probably wouldn't comment anywhere with it. It would be solely for adding a different flavor of content. On a side note [/DY], I agree

I will be cremated (against the wishes and doctrine of the Catholic Church) and my ashes will be spread upon the grave of my significant other. If my SO does not pass before me, my ashes will be kept in a fairly nondescript urn in a not-so-obvious respectful place to later be spread on that grave. Kinda romantic, kinda practical, kinda frugal. (I'd always be with her, and I don't have to buy a second plot that would just eat up land from som

Update: Don't make Alfredo style Tuna Helper with rancid milk. Also note that kids might eat anything you set in front of them, even if it's made with rancid milk.

Actually sounds like your Mom wishes you were "normal" (perhaps like your brother, who is interested in cars, y'know, something *tangible*, not that sword & sorcery stuff you're always going on about). Screw that. I guess I'm lucky that I felt no pressure from my parents in that regard. They had "the big talk" with my older brothers well before I came along: Is D&D *actually* an instrument of the devil? (The Catholic church was pus

I'm not sure about the Tuna Ramen Helper. Maybe I can give it a try if a certain someone does go to drill in January. Then again, I may just revert to the Ramen and Whiskey diet (patent pending).

It has been a point of debate whether I can cook anything more complex than a microwave burrito or a box of generic mac and cheese. (I do make a mean microwave burrito, tho.) This and other circumstances have finally compelled me to try my hand in the kitchen. My first recent excursion saw me foregoing my oft-revered drink of choice... for another bourbon

He's a great guy, and he helped me out quite a bit with stress last mission. He had always been good to me while he was in our unit. I'm adding him to my links. Additional: I have been meaning to give you a call. We enjoyed the pictures of your family, and wanted to give you a visit to see the little one (and the not-so-little one) (and the Mom) in the flesh. I hope we get some time to do so soon.
