Kemimas - I think the difference between the British Empire and, say, Turkish control over Kurdish lands is that Britain wasn't *right next to the people they were controlling*. As nice as the Kurds in northern Iraq are to the US, I don't think they're that kind to some people in Turkey... I've thought about Kurdistan for a bit, casually, as I while the time at work. I'm certain that it would make the Kurds happy. It would give the US a solid al

I have thought about that some, Geez, although part of it was talking to greywar about it. Effectively, you give them one point just by looking at their article, and then LVL 1 users only take one point away for "Trolling" them. You'd have to give at least *2* Trollings per visit to an article in order to have a negative effect. Honestly, as a LVL 1, the best thing we can do to de-push someone is to ignore them. (I suppose the LVL 3+s can visit
When his loveable, well-intentioned verbose companion, the jackass She likened you to a jackass. That's awesome. I, too, have some (I hope very mild) prejudices when it comes to race and skin color, despite having grown up around *no* African-Americans. The Mexican kids who rode the school bu
He really is awesome...and why he chose me to spend his life with is quite beyond me. I don't deserve him....but I'm glad I've got him! I know exactly what that's like. Well, not with Dave, y'know, but... you know what I meant.
We one (one of my protege's (there fore an asshole)) who is re-upping but I would be shocked to see many more. And one of the options he was looking at would take him out of KP, too...
C'mon, SSG, he said it was inexplicable. You can't bust in here with your questions asking for explicking.
Ramyun and hooch diet. I plan on writing a book (and screwing you out of any profits too). Bastard. You know I did it first. (The second stage involves eating 2 fried hamburger patties/day... and as much crappy liquor as you can stand. If you're still hungry after the burgers, eat a kosher dill pickl
You have merely but to point the way (electronically), and I will rush to educate myself. (I'm trying to give up slacking off for lent.) Can you recommend any good EM reference sites?
Hail Eris, This is not a suspicious message. This is not a friendly warning. This is an inconspicuous communication, fnord. It's beautiful. Wish you were here. Agent Sigma
In support of my brother soldier, he has earned an Insightful (and a raincheck for character witness in the hearings).
I guess Batman and I have the same problems on Polys. I did one recently, and really got complacent about the white lie I had to tell. The tester was able to shake me up a bit by asking me a question from an earlier portion of the test, so I had to think about what I was saying. At that point, he got a bigger (although negative) reading off of a *true* response than he had my lie. It doesn't help that they put me in a comfortably temperatured ro
This is a great tale, and really goes to show that it isn't genetic linkage that makes one a father. The more I read of your story, the more I wish we could share some Jack (read: get our own bottles but drink at the same time).
You mean the Devil Dogs weren't barking about it all day in class?
Can you get greywar to work out with you? Or is he doing that already? *snicker* *snort* Seriously tho, grey has been losing some weight the past few months
grey buys? Actually, that's exactly what I was talking about. Happened last year, at any rate...
I wish you weren't so dead set on getting your audience to mentally picture you naked. Congrats, tho. Glad the training is going well for you.
Here on JoeUser, there is a points system, which "rewards" participants for number of articles, numer of times viewed and number of responses. Assuming that a higher point value is better (anyone want to argue that?), and that a "good" (popular) blogger will have more points than a "bad" blogger... why do people insist on "pushing" those they consider trolls? <
please thank your wife for me Done. What???? I wasn't there for the Cake!?!? Waaahhh! Sure *sounds* like a Marine... [/ducks]
LA SMH ALL? = insha allah? Nah. La Samah Allah = may God not allow (God forbid) AN :AE ALL? = insha allah = that it be God's will (God willing/hopefully/we will see/if I get around to it) dharma - I'm not sure that it's a problem specific to officers; it may be a plague sweeping ma
Please note that the Marine Corps colors are *not* Yellow and Pink, they just look like that under fluorescent lighting. Honestly, if you want to make your own colored icing, use the "professional" strength food coloring... the others just aren't vivid enough. It was the nicest I've seen GJL, though. He was truly touched that a bunch of Army pogues would
Maybe I'll get lucky and grey will buy another round of whiskey for us this year as well.
I think that, LA SMH ALL? that this happen Translation: I think that, God Forbid that this happen... What, you can SKATS, but I can't SATTS?
Most of the puntuation and capitalization were done manually And spelling? So, with this technology being able to do a good deal of your vocabulary with *no* actual train-up... how does that affect automatic collection on Weisbaden?
Old crow and diet dr P...will Jack and Mr Pibb work instead? Jack works fine, but I really need that Diet advantage, especially with all that comforting food.
I had the exact opposite view of the show after a casual flip past it. I dwelled watching it for a scant five minutes, but that five minutes was the voting off portion of the show. The contestants were perhaps not as cruel as they could have been in their comments, but there seemed to be genuine resentment and spite flying between the participants. I actually found the concept and the contestants pitiable. If these people were doing this merely
