SPC Sewsalot realizes he's not wholly paying attention at work? Ting!/Insightful But, seriously, it's the opposite, really. He's so specifically focussed on what we put in front of him, he notices aught else.

As always, it's "good" to see you writing. I haven't talked to OC much, just heard his stories, mostly. That was him beating the snot out of raver that time, right? And he was the one who had to "put the Mexican down for the good of society?" (As in "feed him drinks until he's a harmless, inert body that stumbles outside and passes out in the gutter," folks.) Hearing these sorts of things makes me pine for the "glory days" th

I got blue lights that look like I was drinking Dr. Pepper and Old Crow (copyright 2003, psuedosoldier). It's nice you want to give credit and all, but it's DIET Dr Pepper. Obv you were suffering from that sugar rush that gets in the way of the caffeine and alcohol. obv

My understanding of the current situation seems as incomplete as yours. I read the same al-Jazeera articles and noticed the same inconsistencies. Are you forgetting, however, that Queen Nour campaigned to get her son named King after his father's death? There was a compromise then that resulted in him achieving the title of Crown Prince. You also don't mention that it was Abdallah's standing in the military (as commander of Jordanian Special

drmiler - The premise for stating that the Boy Scouts discriminate, as stated in the opening sentence of the article quoted by the original poster, is that they require an oath to God, thereby excluding atheists and others who refuse to say such an oath. <TABLE cellpadding=8 width="95%" align=center bgColor=#FFF

I should pay more attention. Here I was thinking I was keeping up with my friends' web-sites when I stumbled upon this: Link From Link , those of you who read it know who this man was to me. I had no idea that he was being included in this documenta

I'm thinking that, while what LW said was valid, you should be careful to not hijack the thread by posting too long a response, especially if it pertains to a tangential comment made by another poster. If you really wish to address a comment more fully, I would think a link to an article of yours is best. Personally, I would still try and address the original article when I did this, and add further to the discussion in the thread already started.</f

Quite the beautiful family... and the father was there, too. Seriously tho, it's great that Matt was there, too. That is one of the things that I'm most greatful for, I was there for both. You think that you can miss it and be ok, but that's only if you actually miss it. It's just such a wonderful thing. [/senitmental sap]

Your link is broken (try clicking through for yourself; I'm sure you can figure out how to fix it with editing). I had heard about this previously (although perhaps not previous to you writing it). I'm not entirely sure what to make of it.

Nectar of the gods? Ma'am, please note that I didn't say which gods. I'm pretty sure they're not so nice, like maybe the god of sarcasm, or the god of belittling people in order to feel better about yourself. Or the god of being home alone without your family so just go ahead and look at the po

Most recipes that call for bourbon don't call for a specific type. You may find some recipes that call for JD (as JD makes their own sauces now), and probably sub in some other types of liquor to mixed effect. Remember, you're cooking off most of the alcohol anyway, so the flavor of the drink is all that will really be left over.

They all have a holiday. But, seriously... I thought you'd be away from the computer for your birthday? Also, keep in mind that at the height of the Roman Empire (the height they fell so far from), they had about 1/2 the year as some sort of holiday or festival. (Information from my high school Latin teacher, so crucify her instead of me if it's wrong. On second thought, she had to put up with me for 3 years, so she's probably had

then I remember that they are probably sending the same thing to every member... You know, I haven't received jack from them, and my latest auctions were a few months ago. Perhaps it is that my account is "recently" active, and I do log in occasionally to search (in vain) for "good deals" on dead games

[For greywar. Happy Birthday.] Searching for recipes for the Thanksgiving pot luck on Wednesday, I ran across one for "Candied Yams with Bourbon." Sounds great, and it gives me an excuse to get "1/4 cup Kentucky bourbon, high quality," which would most likely involve getting a greater quantity of said fluid... I then started to think of what "Candied

'Tis a CLAYmore, not a CLEIGHmore. You can remember the spelling thusly: A CLAYmore helps you SLAY more. (One can then conclude that a CLEIGHmore would help you out in snowy weather.)

I have eaten the Country Captain Chicken and Jamaican pork chop without flinching. Now thats manly. Still can't touch the Jambalaya, though, its completely gross. The old Ham Omelet MRE was perfect for breakfast. Well, not perfect. I could only eat it by tearing a corner on the package and squeezing i
