Overheard at the comic store: Affleck has removed himself from any Daredevil connection, even turning down a cameo in an upcoming Elektra movie. The next Daredevil (if it gets made) will be a "born again" storyline. The largest problem for teaming them up in a film would be that Fox has Daredevil movie rights and Sony has Spider-Man.

If you don't want to collect monthly, the trade paperback route is probably the way to go. You can read some reviews of the story arcs before you get the trades (try not to spoil the stories for yourself, too much), and it's easier than trying to get back issues.
