I don't know if anyone has checked out his site yet (you should have), but SGT Hook (linked on the right) had recently lost his website hosting. Apparently, he got back up this weekend, and will be blogging again. SGT Hook is inactuality the 1SG of a US Army Aviation Maintenance Company: he's in charge of a bunch of guys who work on helicopters and keep them in

I was fairly certain the challenge was usually "drink a gallon in an hour." I was also fairly certain that was the challenge for the reason that no one (a very small percentage of people, maybe) could do it within an hour and hold it in. At least he had the brains not to try (although the flip-side would say he had no balls).
Actually, Tal, this provides him with an article on an otherwise slow news weekend (read: he was too lazy to come up with something provocative, and just wanted to post *some* sort of content to his blog).
Ah! Deployed soldier alert! Ladies and gentlemen, SGT Talisein! SGT Talisein, everybody!
First brought to my attention by the Fort Hood Herald, 14JUL04 edition, I was readily able to find this story online, as it is an AP story. Here's CNN's take on it: Link Wanted: An accordionist to join the U.S. Air Force QUINCY, Massachusetts (AP) -- There's a great jo
The last link would require me to click "Open" or "Save" in order to hear the audio. I declined. I don't know if audio is a good idea on this site... (I suppose if you had your own, you could just have a script for it.)
Now, I don't know much about the new CO. I've laid eyes on the man twice ever (in the same day, as well), and I only know his name because grey just posted it. But if grey is on his jock as much as he is, it's a sign of a good commander.
Ma'am - I don't have to go to work tomorrow, no. Some comp (compensation) time for the truly awful hours we will have to put in, soon, and for a long time coming. Maybe. But I'm not one to look a gift-extended-weekend in the mouth.
For a good example of Cat, see: Link
grey - I calls 'em likes I sees 'em. I believe those weren't so much "insightful" as "creative," there just isn't a button for that. grey's Mom - He's not normally this potty-mouthed. Well, usually. And then, it's usually good-naturedly dressing-down one of his friends/subordinates/acquaintances/random passerbys.
Whereas grey may be willing to accept that it was simple misreading and that vdstat wasn't intending to bash anyone... Yeah, I'm not buying it. I gave you that trolling for not reading the article, and yet still posting a mildly inflammatory comment. You claim you read the article, you claim you've read his blog, and yet you laid into Air Force personnel that you say were bitching about PT. You told him to "burn his draft card" if he couldn't ha
Well, I'm out of trolling marks for the day. How'd he know about your collection of shirts? Rest assured that he doesn't know you in the slightest, grey, for he'd know that the Army would take quite a loss in your running to Canada. (Odd that he brought that up, with that article sitting on your desktop at work...)
Once "Ripper the Skipper" and his *ahem* "first mate" left the immediate area (and consequently, our monkeysphere)? Yeah, pretty much bye-bye to the pirates. Except for Monobrow. He still says, "Arr" on a fairly regular basis. You know, some pirates are missing an eye, or a leg... he's just missing an eyebrow. And he likes wearing those poofy shirts, so...
FWIW, grey, he didn't hesitate in judging anyone in the comment section of your article either. He didn't hesitate even long enough to get the full background of the situation... Article rambled a bit, but has a pretty strong message, so it probably bucked and reared as you were putting it down. You kept having to leave points or mix metaphors, but you got to the main thrust of it (I think). What about those who don't believe in a god, though
At the very least, my roleplaying game education says you're correct, grey. I've also heard it referenced as "the first version of biological warfare" either in basic training, or during some sort of training from the likes of SPC Lowkee or SGT Pyramid.
Well, I didn't. Heaping helpings all around.
Yes, this only referred to the Warrant Officer's office area. The "Warrant Officer Liberation Front." Interesting that Houseofstone says: Among the more intellectual, this practice doesn't work as well. And then it is revealed that the enlisted soldiers here haven't identified with a totem,
Maybe he's Angry K's DJ/Manager.
Sorry. Forgot the sarcasm tags. (Greek Fire was yet another thing I learned about through roleplaying games.)
So, a choice between a cow and "Greek Fire." (Is that some sort of gay slang that I don't get?) I'm pretty sure the inhabitants of the building do not matter, and I'm also fairly certain we can find some "men" to "defend the engine."
Situation remedied. He does look a little Foxworty-ish, but it might just be the moo-stash. And the smirk. He didn't take that award too seriously, did he?
dharma - You would've gotten an insightful for your above comment had I any user ratings left today. Hopefully, I will remember tomorrow. *chuckle* Silly brass. Nice smirk, milord.

What sort of incestuous game of blog-linkage are you playing at, greywar? Link At least you didn't link to your own page, as that would be "ghey." Link Link Off-Topic Bullshit: You need the Sweet Rims to make the Dope Wheels (combine with Tires) so you can
