Pseudo my man, I am not blaming anyone. Again I overestimated the open mindedness of the JU readers. This Article was from www.worldnetdaily.com (a simple web search would have told anyone this). The author of this article did not seem to me to be to critical. I don't see anywhere in the article blame being laid on anyone. But I

pseudosoldier: "russellmz2 - You do have your own blog to post that sort of thing, y'know." and this blog has a comments section to post that sort of thing. if the author truly believes his article, doesn't that mean he should be calling those republicans names for voicing dissent, too? i am not calling the republicans

grey - And by rim shot you mean... grey - I'd reenlist if they gave me a pony. No, wait, that was bills. I just wanted to PCS. Silly me. (It's not a song, but my reenlistment contract sometimes makes me cry.)

The overall tone of the article is amusing, and mildly "in your face." I like both of those attributes. 4/4 sweet rims (No, that's not a gay reference, dammit.) Additionally: Are you *trying* to be a caricature of Cat? I mean, shit. Tits, food, and shiny things. Crazy coincidence? Or separated at birth? Link <a href="http://www.jupitermining.com/what/ca

In the 19JULY04 issue of the Army Times, page 16, there is an article entitled "IRR troops' experience counts, vice chief says." This article sums up (with a positive slant) the potential call up of 5, 674 Individual Ready Reserve members and the alternatives available to the Army command. Basically, higher felt that calling up individuals in this way would be less

I don't think it's IE version specific, however, as grey would see the upper graphic with his log-in, and I would see the lower with mine, ON THE SAME MACHINE! (I feel like I just told a ghost story.) The only difference between our log-ins is the level (He is 3, I am 1) and perhaps some hidden preferences? Hmm...

Wait. So, you want to stay now? Knowing that they can't get rid of that code? I was talking to some of the Rockers in the NCO Lounge this afternoon, and had told them about the story of your "stay-right-where-the-fuck-you-are" code. Then SSG Unintelligible came in and said, "What?" So, we explained they had put a hex on you to keep you here.) Obligatory On-Topic material: I used to listen to the Hindu Love Gods song (cover?) russellmz2 - You do have your own blog to post that sort of thing, y'know. SW - I think I'm going with some of the other posters in the thread, man. Stating a dissenting opinion is not a traitorous act (unless maybe you're a soldier). Additionally, I don't feel that any American's statements are going to "empower" your typical Irhabi. However, if you want something better to point at in this vein: <a href="http://www.therespublica.org/Allia

From The Economist, June 12th-18th 2004 (pg. 55): A leapfrog appeal is an interesting bit of the English legal system: in a case of sufficient public importance, the appeal may go straight from the High Court to the House of Lords, bypassing the Court of Appeal. For those familiar with the children's game of leapfrog, it's a useful metaphor. But how to tr

One of my cousins-in-law was a stew... flight attendant for a bit, before being laid off, and it seemed to be quite accurate to what Janders has stated. I don't think it's that steward is a demeaning term... it's just that they weren't "stewards," they were "stewardesses." It was one of those gender specific roles, y'know? Like nurses. Now we have flight attendants and male nurses. Go figure.

Ack. Lass - Re-christening does not, in this case, refer to "breaking the champagne bottle," if you know what I mean. (You know what I mean.) He just meant she was re-named. But she wasn't, because the other name we thought it was wasn't. So, this is her name, and it was before, but we didn't know it then. We assumed, and it seemed to be a good assumption, but it wasn't, because apparently the other SGT has a penis. And, by have a penis, I do

Flight attendantses. And, yeah, they should be nicer. I think they go through the same thought processes that a lot of service industry people do (from what I've seen, anyway, and that's by no means all-inclusive). They aren't very often treated like people by the customers, so it's pretty easy for them to treat the customers in a similar fashion.

Very, very interesting article. I also find it interesting that you seem to blame the government because their web-site was hacked, even though the article (which you quoted without attribution or link) also mentioned a University web-site and a private corporation's web-site that were compromised in the same way, and further went on to say that other sites could also be at risk if they had anonymous FTP access enabled. Additionally, I don't think th
