I actually hate this idea a lot. It means that if one of my networks is compromised, they _all_ go down. I can't be the only one to fear this...

I'm sorry. I missed everything you said after "StarCraft 2 Battle Report 4 is up." :)
So far I havne't found any of my friends. This is because I don't know their Stardock usernames. Heck, I barely know _my_ stardock username. I'd strongly recomend adding a "add by Email" fuction. Additionally, if there was some way I could tell stardock to peek at my gmail contact list and add/invite the people on it, that would make it really easy to populate my "ready to play" list.
The next question is: when can I fork over my $10? :)
As far as zooming goes: please, please, please remember tha not all of us have scroll wheels on our mice. If zoom is important to your game, it needs to be something that can be done at the keyboard level.
I am really hopeful that the chat client will be based on the Jabber protocol-- this would give interoperability with Gchat...
Oh, I dunno. It's pretty efficent...
By Godwin's corollary, you lose.
I'm a bit confused by your analogy. specific video cards not running a 3D engine and an overall broken net-code are not the same thing. Are you saying there are people with specific network cards that are having connection problems?... Or that you simply released an unfinished multiplayer product? Of course it's difficult to address these issues so quickly because the code was simply not optimized at launch because the game was not finished
I never, ever have problems getting a game up and running. This is because I play single player... ;)
Pressing F10 brings up the menu and pauses the game.
You'd think this was true. Unfortunately, it is not. I know because I just had to help my sister with her taxes, and alas! The AI mannaged to lose the game while things were "paused"... :(
The Rook has an easier time than most due to a power that deals damage and heals him at the same time. So if you pick this up early you can attack towers sooner. The Queen of Thrones also has a power that attacks towers and this helps her take down towers sooner as well (try to use it and then get out of range so you don't take too much damage). -Jara
I've done 2 complete rounds now, both a
Alright, I just did my first complete game. I feel like I'm a { Basic strategy seems to be: kill things until I level up enough to break towers. Assaulting towers at levels under 10 or so is a quick way to spend 30 seconds figuring out what I did wrong...
I recommend to look into the manual wich covers the basics(Strcutures,Shops etc.). Has been posted in another thread, but i don't think it will hurt if posted once more: https://www.stardock.com/demigodmanual.pdf
Yes, that should help immensely! :)
So do you like the game? any sort of review would be nice...
If you're asking me to review the game... I'm not going to. I've put 5 minutes into it, and am on the forums begging for a tutorial. Sins of a Solar Empire and Galactic Civilizations 2 were equally unfriendly to newcomers, and I would recommend them in the _strongest_ possible terms. So there you go...
That's not bad advice, and I'm totally willing to play with Bots (I may _never_ play with humans-- that's not how I rolll...). My questions are more basic ones like "what's this energy thing"? and "where is my life meter?" And, um, "where's the damned tutorial!" Because Sins had a tutorial that at least helped me know the basics. I sure would like to know where the buttons are and what they do...
So, I'm doing my first round of Demigod, and I'm... Clueless. It's little things like A) how do I kill things? B) why do I keep dying? C) where's the tutorial that will answer these questions. Then it's bigger things: I don't have a scroll wheel on my trackball*, how do I zoom out? I'd be rather grateful to anyone who could help me figure out this game! *I'm not going to change mice just for one game.
I was in Gamestop last Friday, and saw a copy of Demigod. Thought _very_ hard about Emailing you guys, but figured it was a problem local to that one branch. I find it very strange that Gamestop would A) break the street date and B) not even bother to have more than 1 copy per store. I assume Gamestop will be punished somehow, going forward?
"No, both versions would come with Elemental (when you buy Elemental you're getting both versions no matter what you'd just run a different EXE)." Awesome! _very_ customer friendly...
I can't wait for 64Bit Elemental! The question is... will I have to buy it twice (32bit/64bit)? I can see why it might be necissary, but I'm not sure I'd be willing to.

$75 for one day?! Too rich for my blood. I do live in the City, though. Feel free to drop me a line if you want a cup of coffee or something...
The people most affected by this bill would be the ones who don't die because of bad food. Or did we already forget about the bad spinach and poisonous peanut butter? As for your assertion that it would have any bearing on intrastate commerce, I would only point out Article 1 section 8, as well as the 10th amendment. But for the sake of fun, can you post a link to the text of the bill? Thomas.gov should have the text and history-- if the bill has really been submitted..
"For users, it comes with the benefit of being able to download updates or the full game over again from any participating digital distributor – not just Impulse which eliminates the concern of “what if company X goes out of business?” because it’s not tied to any particular vendor." Does that mean I could register (say, a hypothetical) Civ5 with Steam, impulse and Take2 -- and get updates from any of them? Or if one of th
GalCiv2 update? Awesome! If it isn't too obnoxious, I'd like to make a request. in the ship builder, I would love to be able to set the "center point" on any given piece. Currently it's sometimes in the back, sometimes in the middle. Being able to move it would open up whole new worlds of ship construction :). I've been playing this game for years and your updates have yet to disapoint, so I won't be brokenhearted if you opt not to do that...
