I would check the objectdock newsgroup as well. The programmer visits there from time to listening to suggestions and offering assistance. Perhaps your voice will be heard there better than here. OD plus was recently updated as well. So work is steady on the program I believe.
GhoS
I do wish though that it was implemented again to where you could choose which categories you saw displayed. It was a feature once, but hasn't been put back into place. Although I thought it was mentioned at one time it would be back.
I'm not sure if its a problem with avast and Stardock or something else entirely. I did a search and came up empty so I may be wrong. I just recently decided to try using avast AV. I like that it has skinning, its free, and it is supposed to work very well. I had used it once before in the past without issue. However now after I have installed it, I have a problem. For one thing CursorXP for some reason loses its setting, it goes back to norm
It was an awesome experience for someone like me who has liked the Floyd for much of his life, but never seen them in concert (at least with Roger). They were really enjoying themselves as well. I'm hopeful they might get together to make one more album, but I doubt it. Very grateful that they showed nearly their whole concert on TV. Though they missed them all hugging at the end (seen a picture of it). Real classy band. Also had wish
It was interesting and I got the hang of it pretty quickly, but I would never want something like that in my OS. Too many times it was a chore to get to the listing I actually wanted. And as someone else mentinoed, the page of the book kept getting smaller because I inadvertantly moved my mouse. Its not hard not to click for me, its just not practical.
Already had an excellent lightsaber design from Island Dog back at the end of April. And yes could use a better screenshot. Some get so fancy with their screenshots that you can't tell if its even something you want to use.
I tried RSS a little but I don't need it. It reminds me a lot about PointCast, an old program that sent news, etc to you in one place. I'd rather visit the websites that look at RSS since usually I'd end up going there anyway. Curious of the video though, and will watch it in a moment. Not that I plan on using IE7 though might upgrade to it for Windows Update usage. <img src="http://images.stardock.co
Are you trying to see how well we pay attention? The age groupings aren't in proper order. I almost checked the wrong one. Also initially I liked the design of the new poll, but now I'm not so sure. I find it really difficult to see the graph and compare, its a very thin line when few votes are there. Plus no percent or number indicating number of votes.
I wish they didn't have to reload the whole page to see the results. However I am glad it is back. As much as it would be nice to have it on every page, I can see why it is left off of the forums page. Also the graphic for the results are new and different, though I would like to see a percentage as well, or a number to indicate the results as well.
I'm not sure why you had to create 4 threads for the same question. Gotta give people time to respond. There is a search box down the left side. You can choose in a drop down box what section you wish to search in. Type your search and go.
Btw for those who think they have a wrong version or something. This "problem" only occurs with a tabbed dock. I have zoomer docks and nothing shows on the taskbar for OD+ nor is there an option regarding that in settings. It can be fixed as mentioned by going into the tabbed dock properties, to positioning and adjusting it there. <img src="http://images.stardock.com/wc/icons/wc.gif" border=0 alt="Po
Ya I found this over a week ago, sorry didn't share Anyway it is pretty entertaining and well made. I like Yogurt the best.
I have problems with some sites playing videos on FF. I think its how the websites are designed - poor code or coding specific to IE, since more often than not its a video that requires WMP and it doesn't want to work in FF usually. In fact that is usually when I have trouble, when it calls to use WMP, realplayer or quicktime ones work just fine. <img src="http://images.stardock.com/wc/icons/wc.gif
Well at least you won. But is it worth 37 cents to get a 2L of Pepsi you could buy for less than a $1 at the store?
I dislike sigs very much. Sure it adds personality, but it just gets annoying trying to read posts inbetween sigs. I'm on DSL so its not a problem of bandwidth. Sometimes I can't even tell when the message ends and the sig begins on some sites (usually the non-graphical types. Yes I know they can be disabled at most sites, just far too often someone refers to their sig and well you can't see it can you if you turn it off. Guess they aren't g
Just want to add that I've had 3.0 since it was actually released on 6/8 according to SDC. Anyway it works just fine here.
It said the update was 10.66mb on mine, though I was surprised at how large it was didn't matter on dsl. The update works just fine here.
I agree that the screenshots show little purpose if there is no mention of which skins etc. were used.
I don't understand what Nailz's rant is all about. So you don't get to try the beta, you do get the point upgrade when its fully released as part of the 4.x purchase of standalone WB. So you don't really miss out. This was a nice surprise. It will be interesting to see how other skins put it to use, though it is a nice effect with the one skin that already uses it.
I was curious as well. It had never shown its face before when updating WB. You'd think they could have warned us or something. It is rare to see a command window show up on XP.
You know showing a list like this only gets people to view ones they missed and helps keep them top read. How about a list of little read but interesting articles. Perhaps the Admin's can agree on some. I'm sure they exist as not every article makes the front page.
paste into an image program instead like the free irfanview program. MS paint is rather archaic in my opinion.
This brings to mind Stardocks own site DesktopGadgets.com When will this launch? It seems like it is due.
I find Quicktime Alternative works well for me. It keeps Apple from annoying me with the QT interface.
Hitting the "print screen" button on the keyboard and pasting to an image program works great for me. Best thing about is its free and easy to use since it is available with all Windows PCs.
