According to the tech description, you can not kill the envoy cruiser until the cruiser uses the Undermine ability. Thought it was a nice touch allowing empires of the same race able to communicate without any need for diplomancy techs.

No, mines are fine as they are. There are a few viable strageties in multiplayer that would make them overkill if they were able to hold off entire fleets.
I would give you karma but you remind me of a pathetic movie character.
The mistake was building your labs before you made your fleet. Invest the funds into your fleet then start building the labs since the funds required will grow back as soon as the colonization cap gets built.
An issue that is overlooked, logical logistic and tactical structure placing for the AI. A repair bay in the middle of nowhere is not going to much good for AI.
No matter how much automation you puton a ship, you still need enlisted personel to go in and fix the holes blown into your ship.
Try building some scouts to look around the system and find the enemy. You can have the biggest fleet around but if you do notknow what the enemy is building, you're very vunerable. Also, trade ports in my opninion should be built when you have enough ships to fend off the enemy as setting up trade ports cost time and money to get a return on their investment.
and your point is?
Do not research techs that you are not going to use.
In one of my game in MP, I was beatened back to an obscured asteroid base and my teammates managed to divert them from killing the asteroid. With just a few ships, I attempted to disrupt his trade profits by sending them to a heavy traffic trade route and destroy the the trade ships. It gets hard to sludge through click each and every trade ship in order to keep the ships attacking them instead of targeting the structures. I suggest a button that makes the ships selected only targ
THe parade was set up with candy corn and pumpkin candy but ate them all up. I bitterly regeret it since I have to do them again for this post.
Due to my advanced TIE fighter training, I'll smooht my way into their fighter program, defect and end up blown up at some major battle against the Empire. Sucks to be atomic dust but hey, I'll have fun living the dream. What if you run across a actual intelligent talking dog.
PLEEEEEEASE fix the annoying Kol graphic error where the left beam cannons is missing a texture file making it tranparent. [e digicons]:pout:[/e]
I choose the woman. What if you were chosen for a cryogenic deep space exploratory mission which would take a century to complete?
I would give you karma but we don't need another "I got 200 karma!" thread for a while.
I win and could enjoy it but I'm too busy setting up a parade in my honor.
I would give you karma but I'm dying of laughing for "butgunslinger".
I been using scouts lately in the role of skirmishers and they are very powerful in that role. Their speed makes it easy to hit the LRFs from behind and to kill contruction frigates. No contruction frigates, no repair bays to nurse that dying level 5 egg back to health before the hunters arrive.
Practice.
I think its too cheesy that the T.D.N. will glow when all 5 capships are together and combined into a robot with the words "TOTAL DESTRUCTION! NICHE!"
The Kortul is extremely strong until the Cobalts get into range.
Can someone explain to me why the ai building superweapons is such an obstical?
I think the AI has difficulty building superweapons based on their starbase plan, they just build them everywhere and randomly fire them.
If that's the new TEC envoy ship, its not doing a good job by flipping the bird as soon it exits the phase lanes. IMO, it looks more of a salvage cruiser.
actually, it was mentioned, ill have to hunt it down. But it was stated the original plan was 3 micro expansions and a regular expansion. So really its best you dont get peoples hopes down.
Actually, it was 3 micro-expansion combined into a regular expansion to sell at retail.
Since there are players here that could beat the Hard AI 9 vs 1, diplomancy will be easier since we may divide and conquer easily with the current levels. I'm suggesting that levels above Unfair be added with the AI recieving extra capital ships and low tier techs bonuses. Let's say: Unfair + : AI gets a random Ice/Fire planet colonization tech researched. Unfair ++ : AI gets a Akkan/Progneiter/Jarrusal at the start with both Ice and Fire planet coloniz
Many abilties set at level 3 are too strong for early game. Advent can get the level 3 Colonizer ability for their Prognieter and quickly conquer the galaxy while making Illums and Halycon Carriers with level 3 telekinectic push to bully everyone else.
