Back to the subject of the blog, men and women do, in general, have different strengths and weaknesses. If you are talking about physical strength, in general (which means please don't chime in that your cousin can bench press 200lbs or you knew a girl in High school who could arm wrestle the biggest guys in school), women are th

Sorry...I posted my response under Ryan's account (I pulled a LW...hahaha ). Dr Guy is a misogynist, plain and simple. There, i said it. I noticed it LONG ago, and its only been recently that others have begun to see it. You are condescending and d

There are a lot of fallacies and generalities within this article. But I understand a rant and will just say, I hope you feel better. Yup, DG...you just proved THIS point of Tex's: <TD class="mb-Body-Quote-Te

Sounds like fun. I've never read CON either... I'm in love with Christian Historical Romance at the moment... I wonder if my first graders would like CON? I've got lots of ESL kids, though...so that might REALLY go over their heads.

The facts are: Passion happens. Marriage is after the discusion. Not all sex occurs after marriage. Or, let me state this better. Shit happens, there is nothing a man can do about it, and we are damned if we do and damned if we dont. And the Woman is queen. her will be done. period. </TAB

Little Whip (I think it was her...) had a very good article a while back about there not being such a thing as "unplanned pregnancy"--unless there is a rape, of course. Going to bed with someone willfully immediately negates the notion that it could be an "accident". Pregnancy is ALWAYS a risk when there is sexual activity. ALWAYS. It doesn't matter if you're on the pill, using a diaphram and with spermicide, and a condom. You can STILL ge

My favorite slogan shirt is "Because I said so...". I also have "Everybody loves a country girl". There's two I want from Torrid--the fat girl version of Hot Topic. One has a picture of a cow and says "No bull" and the other one says "I love Italian boys" lol.<img src="http://images.stardock.com/JU/smiles/Smile.gif" I tend to look dorky, even when I'm not trying. They don't really make cute things for bigger girls, so I think I end up looking like a grandma more often than not. I like big

There's lots of things I wish I could wear but simply can't because I'm too chubby. If you like it, wear it. My main issue is when middle-aged women don't dress tastefully. It's not that they aren't beautiful, its just...that I think there's a time when you have to pack some things away and pull them out once in a while and look at them wistfully instead of wearing them daily.

I agree with him to some extent, but we can't ignore our differences either. I think that in order to appreciate, you have to identify. I agree with the statement that black history is american history. But to deny race is to deny difference. It's not about equality, it's about appreciating people who look different, learn different, live differently from ourselves.

My mom should see a pain specialist, maybe. I guess I don't know if she has or not. She's already on so many drugs. Just ONE freaking pain free day would be such a gift to her... She's begged me on more than one occasion to kill her because she hurts so much. Its no way to live. It really isn't. I'm so glad that your new regimen seems like it's working so far. I hope you continue to have positive results with it.

Oh...and I *PLAN* on having an epidural. There's no way I'm going to be able to handle labor unless contractions are anything more than menstrual cramps. lol

I hope that if I ever have kids that I'm able to breastfeed. I think it would really create a bond between mother and baby, and ANYTHING I can do to help keep my baby the healthiest it can be is good. That being said, I don't think there's any shame in choosing not to breastfeed, either. Like K, some women just aren't able to do it, some women might think it's "gross" or whatever, too. I think you just have to do what's right for you and yo

Well, he said that I have chronic neuropathy from nerve damage, and that it's probably permanent. He started me on gabapentin (which is supposed to be good for nerve pain), upped the elavil I was taking to 100mgs at night (it works as a catalyst for pain meds), told me to change my fentanyl patch every 48 hours instead of 72, an

Meh. I don't think so. I think you get one go-round, first of all. Second, I think we try to make a blanket "reason" for homosexuality when I personally don't think that there is one. People have messed up relationships with members of the same sex. People lack a hormone here or a gene there. I don't think there is just ONE cause that we'll ever be able to pinpoint. *I* choose to see it from a theological standpoint, however.

Did they give you an injection of antibiotics? Hmmmm...I dunno. I'd give the ER a call and see what they say? *sending you a hug and wishes for good health REALLY soon* Waiting for that update about the pain dr. too...

I did laundry and watched the first DVD of the first season of "House, MD" last night, and today I've been cleaning for company. Sounds like you and your family had a fun time. Happy New Year to you and yours, Jill.

I'm glad you went in. I know you have weird kidneys to begin with. Better get those drugs flowing and keep those kidneys healthy. Hope you're feeling better soon, babe.

Karen...go to the ER. Go NOW. Do not wait. Do not pass Go. Do not collect $200. Go NOW. Kidney infections are absolutely NOTHING to play around with or wait on. Go. Now. I mean it. You'll be lucky not to be admitted.
