those are some real cute pictures! the birds I've been feeding chase each other away, according to size, with the big bad crows chasing away the bluejays, and jays chasing away the orioles, and finches, the poor sparrows are the first to leave and the last to come back to look for crumbs...

BOY, another cookie for you! This was great to read I'm truly astounded at how much I expect a JUer to look a certain way and have been shocked when I saw their photo, realizing how wrong I was! and then I start wondering, like others here, how did they think I'd look??? The pix of me in the nursing home revealed a very bad haircut...I cut it myself t

Heck no we don't "owe them" any dang stadium! Let em play outside the way it use be! Best therapy in the world, a sunny day, crisp weather, a thermos, blanket, whether it's baseball, or football, outdoors is awesome, and part ( imho) of what made America Trudy takes a bow and tiptoes out.........

What gets me? three years ago a friend lost his sister to a car accident, just before Halloween. The neighbor hoodlums were out egging houses on Halloween and of course egged his. That was upsetting to me.

I loved your article Tex, I thought it was well written and well thought out. To answer your question:' The question I have is this...what are the desired results? As my children were growing up all I ever hoped for was that they would be healthy and happy, both physically, mentally, and emotionally. "It requires rules and discipline that are focused around a central desired longterm effect. And there are no guar

Sorry I missed this when it first was posted!! I used to feel guilty for having a roof over my head, heat, electric, and food everytime there was a news story about an earthquake, hurricane, other natural disasters, and also poverty and starving children. A wise person said that it wasn't my fault that natural disasters occur, nor my fault for all the poverty in the world. I do what I can to help, and I thin
