Well Tova a few things huh? I see you're reading my blog and thanks for that I've worked mostly in the health field, until arthritis ( 3 kinds) forced me to change jobs. Even though I wanted to stay home with the children, my income was needed to survive. I've two beautiful adult children,

MY idea of heaven, among others..., is a shower to wash away the grime of living, then sink into a tub filled with perfumed oil, or perfumed bubbles, with candles slowly burning and music in the background. Morning calls for a quick shower to get the muscles and joints moving again with the sting of very warm water on the back. I get very painful thigh spazms, so have cyclobenzephrine on hand for that, and am now<BR
... you gave a lady a lei and made her happy ROFL....
It truly is the little things in life that can bring warmth to our hearts and lift our spirits! It's great when people recognize that and better yet when they acknowledge it! A Positive Outlook!
Gosh, here is MN. those wooden cable spools are all the rage! People almost fight over them at the 2nd hand stores!
For sure this is a delicate situation and sounds like Just Jon has the answer! It made me giggle to read this as a few weeks ago I had steamed some cauliflower, after eating a couple of servings, my son said the house reeked of it, so I promptly got the trash out as it had the greens and core in there. well the smell wasn't gone, even after I tossed out the leftovers. so I asked if he thought it might be coming from me and he<B
Reading this I found myself holding my tummy cause it made me laff so hard! It's sooooo familiar...... way to go for being independant and trying!! Never lose that part of yourself! The month after my ex left 7 things broke down, one of them was the hot water tank, I almost drowned myself trying to fix it!

Two thumbs up and keeping my fingers AND toes crossed for ya!
my son took me to the grocery store this afternoon cause I needed eggs and bread, and I've been dissappointed cause I haven't found any candy corn this Halloween. My son was on the lookout for candykisses, the taffy, peanutbutter type in orange and black wrappers. Yippee, there was Brach's on sale for 99 cents! I'll get more on Friday if there's any left! NO candykisses tho... <img src="../images/smiles/mad.gif" border=0
I'm to be allowed an escape from this madness since my older sister turned Catholic back in 59

You Are 60% Weird You're so weird, you think you're *totally* normal. Right? But you wig out even the biggest of circus freaks! How Weird Are You? I'm so weird I forgot to take the test the first time around and just posted a reply!
Being weird is great, just think: you get to have fun like a child because the so-called 'normal people" expect weirdness from you.....hehehe btw, read your post on my 'other journal' and appreciated it! Yes, aging sneaks up on you, I'm 58 and it wasn't until 5 years ago that i really started to feel (and act ) my age........... seriously, if one really tries their best to do the things that they KNOW are good for their b
Today I had to see my doctor, and holy cow, the three receptionists were in costume! Imagine my shock, and delight **********VBS*******.....so was the doctor...... his costume sure enhanced his good looks! He wore a white puffy shirt, complete with ruffled cuffs, a black velvet vest, over which he had donned a black cape and he had a white satin eye mask.......and his cologne almost made me swoon! . NO KIDDING! <B
Way back when, the dinosaur age, Halloween in school meant we got to try to have the coolest costume for the costume party, we'd parade around ( outside) the school with the teachers to show the neighborhood how cute we were, then we'd have apple juice and cookies. I don't think that this was celebrating Satan, or anything evil. It was about children having a party and of course it was a sweeter time in the world....
