Thanks LightStar.
I trust the checks in the mail!
Only when you prove you wore out the 3 mice you said you did by clicking the download button on my skins. [e digicons][/e] [e digicons][/e]
I would like to say thanks to those who have liked my skins enough to take me to the 1,000,000 downloads plateau.
WindowBlinds is no longer 64 bit XP compatible, the last version that was I think was 6.2. You will need to contact stardock support to get this version.
(Impulse) that puts a load of gaming crap on my PC
No it does not do this. Impulse is a download/update manager for Stardock apps and games.
And now I find out the license is only for a year.
If ObjectDesktop, it is a yearly subscription for updates, the software will always be yours to use. If purchased just WindowBlinds you are good for updates until the next full version release, so all 7.x updates free, even if more than a year
First question, did you uninstall the trial version before installing purchased version, this is a must do.
Should maybe add, this is using FireFox, I never use Internet Exploder.
Hey Philly, Yep, I have been using Flash 10 for quite some time now.
Is there a lag for OP edits to show. On my My Replies page title has changed but no edits on thread. Tried upload again, still Flash 10, it went thru with no errors. This thread can be closed if wished by a mod. Edit; Must just be a laggy day, OP changed after posted this reply.
Thanks CarGuy. May try that later as I feel it is on WC end as I have had 2 different errors when trying to upload and with various buggyness in the forums I am seeing today. For both my replies above when posted and page returned they where not there, I had to go to my My replies page and enter thread from there to see that the replies had posted.
Hey ID, tried again, now getting to the final upload page but with the following Your skin has failed to upload. When uploading a new skin, your Skin file must also be submitted. The file is there, it is a zip as it should be. Still using Flash 10.
Hey ID, I have been using Flash 10 for some time with no issues, the update was not from 9 to 10 it was an auto update for version 10. I did go to adobe but did not see where i could download 9 to be able to roll back to it.
Is uploading currnetly down or did the latest flash update bork it from my end. Upload from both upload and upload2 when gets to end where should be complete comes up with a Wincustomize error page, no details about error. Edit, upload is working now, still using Flash 10.
but I also disabled per pixel bordersm and that seems to have fixed the problem.
Are the drivers or your graphics card up to date; a 8500 GT should not have problems with per pixel frames. My card is a Radeon 9200 SE, which is a much lesser card than yours. I very rarely have this issue and normally revert to last skin then reapply skin I want to use clears the issue up.
Hey Bara; it is in skin comments at current WC, not sure if it is also showing on new site. It only happens for a few but it happens every time they comment, here is an example . See sydneysiders posts. This has been going on for some time now.
Icon size controls how much text will be seen, increase icon size to see more text, with items with long names some text will always be truncated. This is something that was on wish list for version 2.0 to be addressed.
Explorer backgrounds page now shows the textures from the textures page too
On XP SP3 WB shows them but will not apply them as explorer background, just the org. explorer backgrounds will apply.
What OS, I am on XP, just tested, a explorer background I created when this feature was first add will no longer apply, I have had it applied in the past. I am thinking maybe a WB update has borked something,
but I can't imagine actually using LogonVista on XP
To be able to create logons for Vista and 7 users as well as XP logons.
You can't with Logon Vista. You'll have to use the old version of Logon Studio (for XP) and only on your XP computer.
Yep, but On XP you can have both installed, just set one to default Windows logon (which turns it off) then you can use/run the other. I have tested this on XP Home SP3.
On XP you can have both installed, just set one to default Windows logon (which turns it off) then you can use/run the other. I have tested this on XP Home SP3. So those on XP can make logons for XP, Vista and 7.
Windows must have a skin applied for the per app to work, selecting default windows skins is how you turn off/disable WB from skinning.
ObjectDesktop in the past had 2 versions, Standard and Ultimate, with the release of 2010 a little while back they went back to 1 version. For those who had paid the extra for the ultimate version we had our subs extented by 1 year.
maybe im just not used to treating bar icons as actual files and not shorcuts yet
They are shortcuts, if the right click menu for them only had ObjectDock options instead of ObjectDock and the options for the source folder it would not be very useful.
