DWM is alive and well under the advanced skin studio / window blinds themes. (Does that sound correct?)
Yes WindowBlinds uses/needs DWM for optimum performance.
is that the themes that aren't UIS0 themes
UISO are not actually skins, there are just Areo with textures applied.
Have you tried deleting and reinstalling Drop Plus, it may be a corrupt download. Since the delete function from CursorFX config is hit and miss at best, delete cursor from the folder, XP path is C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Documents\Stardock\CursorFX\Themes.
Just took another look your screen image is 640x404 not 640x480 that it must be. With screen image wrong size bootskin will error and not load it into config list.
It's possible that another process is stealing 'focus' of the mouse cursor....that the 3 seconds of 'inactivity' allows another process to start and the cursor is no longer within the text box.
I second this possibility, I have been using Drop Plus since seeing this thread yesterday with no issues at all. Windows XP SP3, CursorFX Plus.
2 things; the file name of the progress bar Starcraft 2 .1.bmp may be causing the corrupted file that booskin would not open. also the progress bar does not have the same color pallet as the screen image, they must be the exact same 16 colors used for both.
Object Desktop which includes ObjectDock
Object Desktop does not include Objectdock, it is a separate purchase. You may have the free version of 1.9 installed, if so it is not Windows 7 64 bit ready.
Neil (WB lead developer) would know better, but what I see from pics is that Opera does not conform to MS windows standards by having the tabs in the titlebar, WB does skin to MS standards so therefore tabs are in menu bar.
I meant load a bmp into the program's UI.
If you mean as you would with logonstudio Vista, the XP only version does not work that way. You new to create a new skin, Create button, or Edit an existing skin, both done in Editor, to change images.
With logonstudio vista on XP, Vista and 7, all that can be changed is the wall image, the rest is default for the OS it is on.
I downloaded and installed the old XP version and it refuses to import any of my .BMP images.
Trying to import how. With the XP version of logonstudio you need to use the splash style logon to get the Vista look. Example here The standard XP
Half a start menu does not an improvement make.
Did Jeff not get that fixed in the Beta update, I am still on XP. As far as an improvement, in 1.9 even for some on XP it would not always work. It seems to be more stable in 2.0 at opening the start menu on all OS than 1.9 ever was.
Thought I would add that with version 1.9 the start menu docklet is hit and miss at best on all Windows OSes. It is one of the improvements in version 2.0.
you should be able to move the dock to all four edges and it stay there.
Psst, Phiily; it is the start menu from the start menu docklet that is moving not the dock. It may be a version 1.9/Windows7 thing, the Beta of version 2.0 runnings much better on XP, Vista and 7 than version 1.9 did. Since it is in beta there is no free version, you would have to purchase, the bundle includes both the 1.9 version and 2.0 Beta. <a href="https:
it isn't going through
It may be a site issue, best bet is to email they will get you fixed up.
Is this from your My Account info here at WC, if so I have 3 different dates, Impulse will always have the correct expire date.
and my head gets sick when i see all the effects everyday in my taskbar
Not sure what you are referring to as effects, off hand I can think of only a couple skins that have animated taskbars that constantly animate, a couple more that have animated buttons but they only animate on mouse over, other than that all skin are like MS Luna and only change state for buttons when moused over. So for skins here 99% have static taskbars, so if it is the design of them that is mak
With logonstudio on Vista and 7 all that can be changed is the background/wall image, everything else will be default MS.
In SkinStudio Edit titlebar and window frames, per pixel frames, caption, extra settings tab at bottom, disable; enable mouseover on all buttons.
If you are using different emails contact and they will fix it up.
it seems as though the stuff is automatically registered on there.
If your logon in Impulse is under the same info as purchase, yes once you log into Impulse Object Desktop will be registered. You can then, as long as all trials uninstalled, install the full version thru Impulse.
Also, do you have any idea how I can get my registration to be reflected on this account? I still cannot make an account on this site with my hotmail address to download
my DeskScapes and other programs still say "Trial Version," and bother me to purchase them.
Sounds like you did not uninstall the trial versions first, this is a must due as the trials are not upgradable to full version.
I opened Impulse and tried clicking on the "Register Product" button while selecting DeskScapes 3, WindowBlinds, etc... but when I copied the serial number provided to me in Impulse, it gave me the following error message:
<
Happy Birthday Zu.
Ahppy Brithday, Zzbau, Hvae a godo won, mait
Hey Jafo; did it hurt typing in Zubish [e digicons][/e] [e digicons][/e]
from what I have been able to determine it is connected to, associated with stardock skinstudio.
What led to thinking this, SkinStudio is used to create WindowBlinds skins, it has nothing to do with decoding video/audio.
I don't believe it's part of any Stardock product.
I second that.
