From requirements, Impulse must be installed in order to download and update software.
You would have to edit the images in the skin folder in photoshop, PSP etc to the transparency level you want them to be.
i am using paid version 1.9 plus
System tray support is buggy at best in version1.9, it has been greatly improved in the 2.0 beta.
For one, rar files are not accepted here for uploads to the galleries so why have a theme section for it. Myself I use objectzip and izarc and 99% of use is from right click context menu, only time I open izarc is to delete a thumbs.db file from zip. If I was to use winrar usage pattern would be the same and any time open I would use file edit etc so I would not care what the icons look like.
When objects are off the screen, it's not much help.
Off screen?, I just aligned my dock to the right, side on which a flyout is now at screen edge, when click the flyout opened offset to icon so all items are visible. If dock is on left or right screen edge, the first sub on a flyout seems to go off screen if it is to close to screen top or bottom, moving it up or down in dock will solve this.
then not control the order of objects or their
My only complaint is the lack of submenus.
There is the Flyout menu docklet with which you can create custom menu, tabbed docks work very well as a main then sub in that tab. Any folder you have on a dock can be set to show as a folder. IMO, not sure what more than this is needed.
May be best to email these forums are not official support.
It may be that foreground example is from older versions and not part of 1.9, I have been using OD for years so not really sure when it was included and stopped being so. I never unistall my backgrounds even when have done an unistall reinstall of OD so I always have that dock. Best I can suggest is to email and see if they can get it to you.
Try reinstalling 1.9.
For version 1.9 that is the included Foreground example dock, if you have 2.0 I am not sure if it is still included.
thank you! so i'm assuming you can't show system tray icons AND minimized windows at the same time?

Yes you may, with the same method. Go toView, then select Show system tray icons. You may also choose to show all running windows.
On XP here, maybe different on Vista or 7 but on XP only one or the other not both at the same time on the same dock.
All you have to do is double click on the desktop to hide all fences and the icons within.
Yep, hiding and unhiding is that easy. When installed Fences is integrated into the Windows desktop, even though Jeff did add the function to turn Fences on and off it is not recommended to do so. (option is under tools, more tools (at bottom), read the warning when turn Fences off.).
Which version, free or paid, 1.9 or 2.0 beta. If free version, system tray is not a feature, you need paid version for system tray support.
No problem; as for problem 2, yeah it may very well be an adobe thing.
For problem one, open OD config, Settings, Advanced Tweaks, make sure first option to bring open window to foreground only is not check. This will allow to open multi instances.
You wouldn't even see a skinned logon screen,
This just made me think; if part of a domain then I believe logonstudioXP will not work at all.
It is required and I can't find any place where the government supplies them.
If you are looking there for bootskin or logonstudio skins I doubt there would be. IMO if they require they should have images to replace default windows images using resource hacker. Or maybe they have a special install for XP that is set up to their specs.? Even though Stardock's apps are safe, I can't see a government just allowing third party apps on what needs to be a secure syst
It is required that the boot and splash screens designate it as a classified unit.
If required why do they not have the resources needed to set it up; you posting on a customization site talking about a classified computer does not to me seem like what the government would want.
That is a Splash style logon, not made using logonstudio, there is a template at DA, My very own logon To edit this type of logon it must be done in the UIFILE in the logon folder, for the glass/trans splash it must be a 32 bit bitmap.
for XP

Bought the software
Both bootskin and logonstudio for XP are free, no version that can be purchased. Bootskin for some will not work due to the system BIOS, if this is your case you are out of luck for bootskin. I have seen that for a few logonstudio would not work, can't remember reasons. Both bootskin and logonstudio have been out of development for a few years so are as is.
Don't have time or
Bottom panel can not be set to false, I have never known why it has setting to be when it will not work like top does.
In the editor for center panel set first and last color to dead black 0,0,0.
I realize about the small icons, the only thing I have on my start menu is computer and control panel and still the start menu is larger.

i edit the skin in skinstudio and it shows that the start menu looks small and I save it as a substyle. when i apply it, looks the same as if i hadn't resized it. tried reloading wb as well.
It has nothing to do with editing in skinstudio, you say you only have computer and control panel on start menu, that is o
I have the tasks running on my dock, hover over them with the mouse, but no aeropeek.

ok, it's clearly working for some but not all. No matter what I try I cant get the aeropeek to work when I hover over a running task in the dock...
Hover over the shortcut for it not the running icon that displays when it is running.
