Sure, like NT2002 said. Right-click on DX systray icon. Switch to Edit Mode if you're not. Select New Theme.  It will open a new theme with nothing on it at all. Save it before you import any new object and you'll be able to just open that blank theme every time you need it.

I dunno, just a though. Maybe the said program only support a specific icon size, or a specific number of colors for the icon. Now, ICO's can include icons for all sizes and different number of colors.  Maybe the ICO's you are trying to use don't include the actual icon size and/or number of colors that the programs are expecting to find. besides I've never had I.E running at the same time as Avant, what's the point? You don't need to have IE run seperatly, IE is the browser you are using with just a different shell aroud it. the .xp files are additional skins settings but exclusive to XP computers, as opposed to the .ini file that touches skinning features common to all Windows versions. .sss are more skins configurations files, and so are the .toolbaricons and the .animations.  Open them in Notepad, you'll see, it's just a .ini with a different extension.

It doesn't even look like a Windows skin. The Title of the window is not even on the Titlebar... I'll go with DWatson, I think it's a separate program that uses its own custom interface.  And I wouldn't be surprised if it was actually a DOS or maybe a Unix/Linux based application.
If it's for a web site, then Internet Explorer doesn't support transparent PNG. It will show you light grey where it should be transparent. Your ONLY transparency solution for web pages are GIFs, but then you're limited to 256 colors in your image, and only 1 color of transparency. In other words, the edges will be jagged, unless you anti-alias it with the same color as your web page background color.

Usually nowadays, software like PSP or PS do it automatically and seamlessly, but before you used to have to do it manually.  It's a matter of creating an alpha mask in your chanel, then saving the file in 24 bits PNG.  The alpha channel is important, as that's what determines the transparency.  I don't know if PSP supports chanels or not, but that's how it should be done if the software doesn't have an "export as transparent PNG" option.

Running Windows XP Pro, logged on as a user (not an Admin), how would I give permission to Norton Anti-Virus Live Update to run the live update automatically, without having to log out of the user mode mode and log back in as Administrator? Anybody knows? I been wondering that for a while now. Cause it's a real pain.
You should try Windowblinds again, it's much more flexible. For example, with WB you could have the titlebar buttons on the left like it should be on OSX, while you can't with the msstyle format.
