Oh, I agree 100% queenendorf. A few more of those and we'll probably have to stop accepting them. It was nicec when it was different, but if it starts to be a new trend of "push a button and let the computer do the work" kind of walls, we'll adjust our criterias accordingly.

Never used AutoCAD but I kow of one program that does that too. It's called Avery Designer Pro, it's a software included on a CD when I buy Avery CD labels. Anyhow, it completely refuses to open (it opens for a split second then closes down) when WB is loaded. Even excluding it and therefore having it unskinned doesn't solve the issue. I have to completely unload Windowblinds then open the program.&nbsp So far, it's the only program I've experienced that does that.&nbsp But there might be a few

Just Jane: don't regret your purchase. You bought a very good card, and it seems the problems you are having are related to the screen not the video card.&nbsp NVidia used to rule, and now ATI is catching up and are probably as good now. But it doesn't make NVidia any bad. Actually, NVidia is what powers the new Mac G5s, and believe me Apple only chooses top components for their top of the line computers.

Why not include as many as possible, once you create it large, softwares such as Icon Developers will make the smaller ones automatically. Anyway, you need to inlcude the 72 one, and some people may use some of these icons with Object Dock, so 128 would be nice too. And you need the 24 pixels one as well for items on the right side&nbspof the start menu.

Yes, DryPeguin. You have the Windowblinds skin for Windowblinds, now if you want the clock/meters on your desktop you need to install the Sysmetrix program AND the Shades of Blue Sysmetrix skin.

Bachsau: the Theme service has nothing to do with WIndowbinds. You can disable it and everything will still work, including the shellstyles. A lot of people disable it without any problem.&nbsp Your problem is somewhere else.

Bleh, don't want this help request fall into a NVidia/ATI debate. Both are good, both can fail.&nbsp I checked the specs of your card on MSI's web site, Just Jane, and it is a good card, very good actually.&nbsp Do you have the 128 Megs or the 256 Megs model?&nbsp Not that it matters in this case, both are very good. Anyhow, check your resolution, as I said. Something tells me that may be where your problem is. I may be wrong though.

The top 2 items in the Appearance tab should be Windows Classic style and Windows XP style .&nbsp If you don't see the second one (Windows XP style), check in your services.&nbsp If you disabled the Themes service in XP, the default XP styles will&nbspnot be available.&nbsp Re-enable it and it should come back.&nbsp

Question: What resolution are you running?&nbsp You know that you shouldn't change the resolution on a digital LCD screen?&nbsp Your native resolution is 1280 x 1024.&nbsp If you have if set to something else, bring it back to that. If you are using that resolution, then your problem is somewhere else, but be aware that your image will always be much better in your screen's native resolution.

DesktopX, Object Dock&nbspand WindowFX depends actually a lot on the gfx card and the processor, more than the RAM.&nbsp As I said, I have 512 on my laptop right now and I run all these without a hitch. I have a P4 2.4 and a NVidia GeForce 4200. The only times I wish I had more RAM is when I have to open large 300 Megs images in Photoshop.
