This started as a reply to a post on my blog entry titled "Pardon my Freudian Slip." However, it ended up being really long and semi-obsessive and more or less fairly interesting to talk about, so I thought I would go ahead and post it up. I'll be blogging again later tonight most likely to talk about general life stuff, but this had to get posted soon, so here you go

wow.. I'm glad to see so many people helped out. I just found out about it, but here's another one to build ya up a little bit!

One of life's little random quirks - the human need for communication. It always feels like there is this overwhelming compulsion to constantly talk or express ourselves in some way. Blogs are one of the ways that we satisfy that urge. It seems like I always have this constant dialouge in my head. Sometimes it's a narration of my day, i.e. I'm thinking about what I ha

That's good you're proud of yourself. If I ever think everything in my life is going fine and dandy I always knock on wood. Here's the odd thing. I don't really think that my life is really going that well. It's just a case of looking at everything and realizing that a lot of the things I take as proble

This is quite conceivably the dorkiest thing I'm ever going to say about anything, but I'm going to say it. This is a journal of my journey as a human being - both the milestones and the pitfalls. I've been thinking a lot about some of the things that I've gone through recently and I have to admit that I'm quite proud of myself at this stage. I'm a reasonably decent p

It's Sunday now. Not that really means a whole lot to some people. I worked today, which is pretty par for the course. Got sent home early, which is usually what happens on Sundays. It's just not very busy, which suited me just fine. I had a case of Anal Glaucoma anyways. In other words, I couldn't see a reason for my ass to be at work. It was just one of those lazy d

Wow. I've moved a lot, but pretty much all within the same area. I've lived in Newport News and Hampton Virginia (which means, I've pretty much lived in Newport News lol), then last spring I moved to Indiana. Not that huge of a deal... no ocean though, which I dearly miss. I like moving from time to time. I end up broadening my horizions so much that it works out really well for me in the end. I know I'm going to be in Indiana for at least 5-7 years fi

Ah! The noble art of "Engrish". The best shirt I've ever seen is a young girl's t-shirt that was vividly bright blue, and had this really happy looking rainbow on it and it said "I hate myself and I want to die." It's so awful that it's amazing. For some more stuff like this you can check out www.engrish.com. Verry funny stuff.

What a world, what a world. Life can sure look funny three days later. It's not all peaches and cream and happy go lucky, but it's significantly better. I talked to F about some stuff and he said that the reason he comes down so hard on me about some stuff (like the whole suicide thing) is cause he sees me as a better person that him. Like, a suicide attempt would be

Those are all some impressive songs. If you are going by lyrics alone I would have to go with "Dust in the Wind" by Kansas. For me, it's just too perfect in it's phrasing. If you are going for the whole package, then I would have to go with "Time in a Bottle" by Jim Croce. The music perfectly manages to capture the slight sense of magic and whimsy that the words imply, with the same drop of longing infused throughout. A couple of newer songs that migh

Today was another one of *those* days. You know what kind of day I'm talking about. Nothing could possibly seem to go right, and everything makes you angry. It was one of those days where it seemed like I was almost always on the brink of tears for one reason or another and I was pretty much just inconsolable all day long. I felt bad when it interefered with my abilit

Out of sheer curiousity, what exactly constitutes cheating in this situation? He fell in love with someone else, which was something we had both expressly said "nope... that's not right" about... not to mention had sex with this person after we had both agreed that he wouldn't. That, and it was my siste

At the risk of doing a shameless plug, in the past few articles I have written "Everything Happens for a Reason" and an article about suicide which you may find interesting. Nothing wrong with on-topic shameless plugs I encourage

The other thing this makes me think of is my own internal ponderings over whether it is possible to love or have feelings for more than one person? After all why not? To be perfectly honest, that's a whole other debate for a whole other topic. <TABLE cellpadding=8 width="95%" align=center bgCo

Ummmm...you already gave up TMI.~shrugs~ It's your life and your emotions, but I really hope that you're protecting yourself and the multitudes against any diseases... I don't want to sound like a bitch, but seeing as my blog is kinda a diary of sorts and all, it wasn't really TMI. It would have been TM

Sex is such a strange thing. It's what most of us usually can end up defining our lives by, at least in my generation. It's not that uncommon for us to lament and agonize whether we're going to get some or not, not to mention whining about how long it's been since we've had any. At least amongst guys anways. However, I've come to the realization that we've made sex fa

Sometimes I do think that everything happens for a reason. There's a reason we were late to an appointment, or there is a reason we didn't go shopping that particular night, or something. I don't know if I can call it fate or destiny or just timing, but things do seem to happen for a reason. A good friend said that to me the other day and I've been pondering on it eve

Ok, so I haven't really updated like I said I would... that's alright... don't think anyone has read it, so ultimately I guess it really doesn't matter. Life has a way of changing sometimes. I know a lot of my current funk is mainly cause I'm out of my thyroid medicine, which has left me feeling blue and depressed and I'm also adding some PMS on top of it. Wh

Hello bloglings! It's been about a million years since I've updated my blog. A lot has happened... a lot has changed. I've grown as a person and lost as one too. There is no way that I'll ever be able to synthasize the past few months in a few pithy paragraphs, so I'll just go on with the narrative of life from here, and just take minor trips to the departmen

This seems to be a very passionate thread, with feelings running very deep on the subject. No one asked, but I'm going to put my ten cents in. (It was two cents, but because of inflation, it's now a dime!) I grew up poor. Until i was 7, my mom worked and my dad worked full time jobs. We lived in the projects, but we bought our own food and everything else. We shopped at thrift stores and our extended family every year bought me clothes for my
