The problem i had yesterday was that soil enhancement didnt appear on the list, after i used it once. When i placed it the first time i had a choice of 3 tiles to place it on, so i thought i would be able to do it 2 more times after the first. But it never reapperaed on the list.
Pillars of Eternity has sparked my interest and might be my first crowd funded game, though I wasn't a backer. Still holding out on DAI till they fix PC controls...
Whats wrong with the PC controls? It plays like your standard MMO, after you customize some keys. Which you are able to from the ingame menu.
I know you have to cater to all types so that anyone can play, but what made sup com so interesting is they set out to make a game that ran best in the fastest machines, rather than pandering to those still rocking old kit. I honestly would just buy a new rig than the game dumb itself down for me. In Ashes case, we definitely require a pretty beefy machine. 64bit,
... Anyways, I won't be purchasing anything "New" from EA, I may purchase older games or games that are a low price but, I learned my lesson with SimCity 2013 after dropping $90 on the game.
And we totally agree on that! [e digicons]^_^[/e] <d
I don't buy EA games specifically because they buy out successful software companies and tank them. EA is a cancer.
IIRC Maxis was anything but succesful for years when EA aquired them, which was the reason they sold to EA in the first place.
I see your point if Stardock did promise the game would not go below a certain price. I fully support free market pricing decisions (obviosely) but I also hate it when businesses lie, even if unintentionaly. I DO NOT support false advertising and lying to customers if that is indeed what happened.
I really dont think it was intentional on Stardocks part. I suspect it was an interaction of preEA market
Look at this page , and scroll down. Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access? "Galactic Civilizations III may be part of promotions both during the Early Access period and after, but the base price will remain $49.99." You still haven't provided one iota of proof to back your claims.
